Possibly the only time a giant caterpillar has ever been filmed playing piano quartets…

We had a blast @HHChamberMusicF this year, not least ending up on the floor with @PosterTom close to the end of a Happy Birthday for the Salisbury’s Granddaughter. The piano bench gave up on us!! Thanks for the photo @FMarshallPhoto

Replying to @BrenMcgowan @ElenaUrioste @PosterTom
Agree completely about it not feeling like a concert. We went to this gig (?) at @SaffronHallSW and it was just so much fun. Came away just buzzing with the happiness and community that music can make.

A #noisenight isn't a conventional concert - it's normally standing around in a bar. This was in a club, so - for those of a certain age - it was Wheeltappers and Shunters meets Wigmore Hall. (And that's a compliment from me!) And more great music. 2/x

The last time I heard 'La Vie En Rose' live was Frederica von Stade's farewell tour. Last night @ElenaUrioste and @PosterTom worked similar magic at @through_t_noise #noisenight We had Prokofiev, Cecile Chaminard and a gorgeous piece from Donald Grant. A perfect evening. 1/x

We’ve been really touched by the responses to the first disc in our ‘Brahms and Contemporaries’ series on @ChandosRecords, and hope you enjoy this video giving a taste of both pieces - the lyrical beauty of Luise Adolpha Le Beau + the fiery coda of Brahms’ 2nd piano quartet!

Our magnificent soprano @FrannyChiejina has sadly had to withdraw from our @wigmore_hall concert tonight due to illness 😥… …we will miss her terribly, but silver lining: we’re going to play Metamorphosen for you! Join us at 7:30pm for Beethoven, Strauss, and Schoenberg! ✨

Thanks @KaleidoChamber for a sensational concert last night @uniofoxford. Such intense, free and emotional playing. Will never forget the translucency of the Schoenberg. @wigmore_hall is in for a treat tonight. oxfordculturalprogramme.org.…

Such a wonderful evening at @SaffronHallSW with @ElenaUrioste and @PosterTom, bringing their infectious delight in music making and reprising brilliant Juke Box arrangements. An odd sense of a past that seems long ago but also only yesterday. Thank you both - for then and for now
