A Very good point by @Dragdar_
A lot of people who have reached challenger, aren't able to transfer their skills to other roles
Which interestingly enough, they aren't really able to transfer these skills to other video games and even IRL
Because they understand the game by what "tends" to work
Without actually understanding the core concepts of the "game", how it fundamentally works
To be the player Dragdar describes, you need to understand how attacking, defending, risk management, improvement, playing as a team etc.. all work as CONCEPTS independantly of league of legends
It's a topic im really passionate about and could talk about for days
There is a whole branch of mathematics called Game Theory for this
Even within Challenger there are hierarchies of skill.
There are people who are Challenger at their champion or role, myself included.
And even rarer than that, there are people who are true "Challenger players" that understand the game itself.
There are very few of those.

What a sad tweet to see on my timeline ☹️
It genuinely makes me sad that there are people who believe you become worse or "washed" after reaching a certain age.
I've dreamed of playing in the LEC and competing on the international stage since I was a kid. I've worked incredibly hard to make that dream a reality.
When I was 18, I moved to Germany and lived with a really great friend of mine. I worked 40-hour weeks as a delivery driver to afford a PC while streaming and grinding the ladder as much as I could. I'd take 90-minute naps every day as soon as I got home from work, and sometimes I'd even fall asleep on the job because of how exhausted I was.
Then moved to France, where I lived alone in what was essentially a tiny cave of an apartment, just one room of around 15m², while continuing to grind the game.
I've faced so many struggles along the way, financially, physically, mentally, and in terms of time and work.
At one point, I even became homeless, moving from one friend's place to another while struggling to find a stable place to live for a long time.
I was only able to start playing professionally at 22.
And even now, I still dream of becoming the best. I genuinely believe I have the potential to do it. League is still a relatively young esport, and there's so much room for improvement, especially when it comes to the mentality and approach of many professional players.
But what hurts is having to accept that, because of mindsets like this, I might not even get the opportunities I need to prove myself and achieve that dream.
We really need to stop pushing the idea that age is what determines whether someone can succeed professionally in League of Legends.
Give people the opportunity to prove themselves. Judge them by their performance, their work ethic, and their mentality, not by the number of years they've been alive
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO INSANE
Mashallah
Good shit @Spear_shot
Ehh, worlds music is alright, clip was pretty cool
Personally prefer more hype songs, but it's fine
Won't be something I listen to much
I prefer Sacrifice, Rise, Ignite, etc... much more
Songs that actually hype me up to play soloQ and grind the game
Thoughts?
