The Rogue Cruisers 2nd annual Christmas Care Home Cruise brought Christmas cheer to onlookers watching tonight’s cruise of decorated vehicles past care homes and the hospital in #SwiftCurrent. The event collected food, toys and cash for the Salvation Army’s Christmas campaign.

Today's wreath laying ceremony at the Memorial Park cenotaph commemorated the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Dieppe during the Second World War and the role played by the 8th Reconnaissance Regiment (14th Canadian Hussars), which was headquartered in Swift Current.
