Crazy how quickly things have changed. Few months ago, I was 100% team Codex. I genuinely thought nothing could compete with it. Then Opus 5.5 dropped!! Now even Astra Max/Ultra doesn't feel as good to me. I've got Codex accounts sitting unused while I'm burning through my Claude usage. And it's not even about usage anymore. Opus just understands what I want and gets the work done better. I genuinely hope OpenAI releases something that can compete, because I want Codex to be great again. Anyone else gone from loving Codex to barely touching it??? :/
