In a petition led by @PredatorDefense + @CenterForBioDiv, 60+ conservation groups (incl the WCC) called on @forestservice to ban M-44 cyanide bombs on all 193M acres of public forest lands.
In 2023, M-44s were banned on @BLMNational lands. M-44s are cruel + indiscriminate.

Wolves are listed as an endangered species in all the lower 48 states except Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. USFWS gave those states the authority to manage wolves. They have failed miserably. Wolves should be relisted, and grizzly bears should stay listed: ow.ly/nxSB50RjtvV

Last year, I had the privilege of overseeing the @NRDems hearing on Canyon’s Law and hearing from Canyon’s father about the devastating impacts from cyanide bombs.
I’m glad I could lead the bill this Congress to protect families and animals from similar tragedies.
Cyanide bombs are used to control coyotes, but they kill indiscriminately. Our @NRDems witness told about his son’s harrowing experience when one exploded near their property. I’m going to push to make sure these are prohibited.

House Committee on Natural Resources held a hearing yesterday on anti-wildlife bills, including Lauren Boebert’s bill to strip ESA protections for gray wolves + prohibit its judicial review.
USFWS, the agency charged with listing + delisting species, testified against the bill.
