It's important to note that the impending #TeacherStrike is NOT just about teacher pay!
It's also about:
1. Underfunded schools
2. Squeeze on the school day/hours
3. Teacher workload; one of the highest in the world!
= The means, ALL pupils get less quality teaching!

Nichelle Nichols, trailblazing ‘Star Trek’ actress, has died at age 89. After fighting racist insults off set, praise from none other than Dr. King was what made her stay on the show: bit.ly/3vvCKQ4

This weekend spare a thought for PC SIDHU who lost his life on 24/10/1999 on Mereway Road Twickenham trying to apprehend two burglars. Sid's memorial is situated on the junction of Colne Road. His name is recorded in the book of remembrance at Hendon.#NeverForget

Dear Manifesters,
Your outpouring of joy has been as humbling as your efforts to save the show. Consider all of your celebratory tweets “liked,” a huge understatement for how I feel.
You may hear from me a bit less as I’m getting back to WORK. Thanks to you. 👊

Amazon #PrimeDay is postponed in Canada due to COVID-19.
Let’s keep it that way. But not because of COVID.
But rather because Jeff Bezos got $88 billion richer while Amazon workers can’t get a living wage, paid sick days, or even a heads up about outbreaks in their workplace.
No one needs to be buying from this trash company at all. Shop small. #AmazonWaste #BoycottAmazon #AmazonPrimeDay
Exclusive: Amazon is destroying millions of items of unsold stock in one of its UK warehouses every year, an ITV News investigation has uncovered.
Many of the products - including smart TVs and laptops - are often new and unused.

Worried sick about my wedding on 2nd July! have invited friends & family in hope that lockdown will be eased from 21st June as promised. This constant back and forth is really draining!A big kick in the teeth when you see sporting events with no restrictions #whataboutweddings 😞

Weeks away from our wedding saying the words "I feel so sad" awhile crying to my other half is not something I would of imagined when I got engaged in 2018.
What is even worse is knowing that Government could do more but haven't.

Fine for thousands to flock to Stadiums, but having your family attend your wedding day? Keep dreaming. @BorisJohnson what's the justification? #whataboutweddings #June21st #Covid19UK

A wedding is a life event, a milestone, not simply a party that can be arranged in a number of days. I began planning for my 2020 wedding in 2018, now here I am 19 wks away from my third date still not knowing what I’m ‘allowed’ to do #whataboutweddings @BorisJohnson
