Following a beautifully observed minute of silence in memory of the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, we are ready for play at Chester LTC finals day! Trophies up for grabs, and the sun is shining 😁😎#TennisChester
Finals day underway in the September sunshine at Chester Lawn Tennis Club. Who will be taking home the silverware? Spectators welcome, plenty of spare courts for social tennis too, and we'll get the pizzas on soon 😁🎾 #TennisChester
Mixed A and B teams in action, plus coaching from Damian. Fantastic to see everyone playing again! We have plenty of courts, and some great new member offers, check the website for full details! clubspark.lta.org.uk/Chester…
The sun is out, new courts are well underway, and we have 7 others ready and waiting - we are open for tennis at Chester LTC! #TennisChester

Hey Boris, know how we solved this at Chester Lawn Tennis Club? We asked members to get changed at home, and not to gather for tea/chat after matches. Not too tricky to sort out!
Recreational cricket is not yet safe to play because of issues surrounding "communal teas and dressing rooms", says Prime Minister Boris Johnson bbc.in/3dSIqrP
Back on court after far too long - old faces and new at the club enjoying coaching with Damian, playing their own matches or getting some practice in ahead of the annual tournament! Hope we can get the BBQ lit again soon at Chester LTC 😎😁 #tennischester
This is just one of the reasons Chester LTC is such a great club to be a part of! #tennischester #nhs
Our members wanted to say thank you to #NHS workers for their graft over recent months by donating to create heavily discounted memberships. We hope it will help with your wellbeing at a stressful time. Get in touch if we can help. @ShitChester @CWP @TheCountessNHS

Everyone is champing at the bit to get back on court, the committee are working hard to make this happen sooner rather than later. Looking forward to seeing some old (and new!) friends back on court soon! #tennischester
Following the updated government and LTA guidance this week, we are hoping to get the courts (but not the clubhouse) open in the next few days. There will be some limitations, but we will keep you updated! #TennisChester
It is a shame to close our doors (albeit temporarily) , but this is the only sensible choice in the fight to slow the spread of COVID-19. We will reopen the courts and clubhouse as soon as it is safe, hope it isn't too long before we can get back up and running. #TennisChester
The tennis club is now closed until further notice. We will advise when the next membership year will start, and look forward to welcoming you back once restrictions can be lifted. In the meantime, stay safe, and stay home! #TennisChester
We have decided to hold Sunday's Annual General Meeting virtually this year - members will recieve an email with the relevant details and voting forms. However, the club remains open for general play. Stay safe everyone. #TennisChester
A reminder that the deadline for members to register for the LTA Wimbledon ticket ballot is fast approaching. You just be registered to have a chance of tickets! #WimbledonBallot #TennisChester
Finals day is here and the sun is shining! Come on down and see who will be taking home the silverware this year! #TennisChester
