Today, in honor of Earth Day, these kindergartners dug up the pumpkin they had filled with snack trash and buried in October. They discussed their findings and made connections to all they’ve learned this week about taking care of our Earth. ♻️🌎💚 #ourWHY #CSPismade4me

These little readers from Mrs. Hutchinson’s class completed their bookmarks for reading 100 minutes in their #WeLoveToRead challenge. So far they’ve read more than 2500 minutes in just a couple of weeks. They are excited to get started on their next 100 minutes. #ourWHY

Mrs. Hutchinson’s kindergarten students love space week and especially their STEM challenge to make straw rockets. They problem-solved to figure out how to make them work, then compared the distance travelled for math. #ourWHY #CSPismade4me

Last spring our kindergarten was awarded a China Spring ISD Education Foundation grant to establish an outdoor classroom. Today was the day we finally got to plant something with the help of Madeline Makovy from McLennan County 4-H. #ourWHY #CSPismade4me
