I think I am more exhausted working from home because I draw energy from being around my students and my colleagues. Zooming everyday is a good substitute, but the spirit of spontaneous energy in the physical school environment is something I love.

Teachers plates can take no more. They currently have five jobs. Teacher, curriculum developer, IT for students, therapist for parents struggling, & office worker. All while trying to survive the pandemic w/ their family too. Let’s all give teachers grace & support right now.

Classroom assessment is about gathering evidence and providing feedback to improve learning. Thus, all classroom assessments don’t need to be standardized. Students can be given options to demonstrate their learning!
