Just me over here all xennial-realist-like: not making my kids hope chests - just a 3 ring binder of shit to help them survive the climate wars.
So a month ago I texted my best friend to say, " hey, like the 5th person in 10 weeks died ... I wish all this death would stop." And she replied with, "you've changed and I think you need antidepressants..." even tho my doc says it's grief and I don't.
Just a millennial parent trying to re-raise my inner child & actual children out of past PTSDs, run a business while maintaining an anti-capitalist mindset, convince other parents I'm not a fuck up, have a music career while old, and just wash this asshole spoon without incident.
I just woke up from 14 hrs of sleep after 3 days of almost complete insomnia. I'm still loopy from the cocktail of lettuce water & drugs in my system.

There is no shame in starting over, cleaning up your work surface, and starting from scratch.Why can't we apply this same principle to government agencies? To educational systems? To law enforcement? We can say, " this is no good, and the more we futz with it, the worse it gets."
