Dwayne Bacon says kids are picking the wrong colleges chasing $3,000,000 NIL checks instead of the right coach
"If you got the right relationships, the money will come"
"It ain't about going to college for the NIL check. It's about going to the right college to make sure that you straight forever"
"Don't go to Iowa because you know Iowa is not a bad school because they paying you $3 million. You might need to go to Arkansas with Coach Cal because his guards and his wings, they flourish"
"You might have the ball in your hands because you a good scorer at this time and you only getting 800 but you getting better and you got a platform with Coach Cal. He gets people to the league"

/// 6'4 2027 CG/SG David "DJ" West Jr's (@_DJwest3)
@3SSBCircuit Session 1 & 2 Highlights. Averaging 6.4 Pts, 4.3 Rebs, 2.4 Asts, & 1.5 Stls (leads the team in stls) on a Shooting Split of 40/25/67.
DJ is a high basketball IQ player that’s grown up around the game, absorbing knowledge and understanding from high levels while being around his father.
He’s always had natural shooting touch/mechanics, but has also shown increased quickness in decision making getting downhill, seeking contact, and improved handle ability to comfortably operate as a secondary offensive initiator.
He shouldn’t be viewed as a “late bloomer,” more so just a younger prospect that only turned 17 years old last week and is beginning to come into his own physically.
Already wearing a size 16 shoe, which could point towards more growth still coming.
Recently picked up his first Division I offer from University of Toledo.
