OUR VOTE IS NOT JUST TODAY'S RIGHT, IT IS TOMORROW'S RESPONSIBILITY. A vote is more than a mark on a ballot. It is a voice, a choice and a commitment towards the future of our nation. The right to vote is the foundation of democracy, but protecting that right is our collective responsibility. Every vote matters, every voice counts, and every citizen has a role in shaping the India we aspire to build. Let us exercise our democratic rights with awareness, responsibility and conviction. SAVE THE VOTE, SAVE DEMOCRACY, SAVE THE NATION! #VoteBachaoDeshBachao #MyVoteMyRight #Democracy

IDBI BANK: PUBLIC INTEREST, TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY MUST REMAIN CENTRAL The proposed disinvestment of IDBI Bank raises important questions about the future of India's banking institutions, financial governance and the larger public interest. Banking institutions are not merely commercial entities. They play an important role in supporting businesses, facilitating financial inclusion, strengthening the economy and serving millions of customers. The future of IDBI Bank must therefore be examined beyond the immediate financial considerations of disinvestment. Transparency in the process, protection of employees' interests, customer confidence, institutional accountability and long-term economic implications deserve careful consideration. The All India Professionals' Congress (AIPC) believes that decisions concerning strategic financial institutions must be informed by robust economic assessment, public accountability and a clear understanding of their long-term implications. The larger question is not simply who owns a banking institution, but how effectively it serves the economy, its customers and the public interest. All India Professionals' Congress (AIPC)

AIPC | Civil Society & Policy Research | Ken-Betwa Ki Awaaz When the voices of the marginalised go unheard, even hunger becomes a form of resistance. Amit Bhatnagar ji, a social activist and leader of Jai Kisan Sangathan, has been at the forefront of the Ken–Betwa Andolan, standing alongside Adivasi families fighting for their land, dignity, and fundamental rights. Through his 27-day hunger strike, he demanded fair compensation, dignified rehabilitation, protection of tribal rights, the release of Divya Ahirwar, and the withdrawal of allegedly false cases against protesters. The movement has also raised serious questions about the government’s treatment of marginalised tribal communities. Protesters allege that instead of addressing their grievances, the administration has resorted to intimidation, police action, and criminal cases to discourage dissent. Is raising the voices of marginalised Adivasi communities a crime? Should those demanding their constitutional rights have to fear the very institutions meant to protect them? On 24 October 2026, Amit Bhatnagar ji ended his 27-day hunger strike following an appeal from Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar ji. But the struggle for justice continues. “He endured hunger for 27 days, not for himself, but for families whose homes, land, and future are at stake.” A democracy must make space for the voices of its most marginalised citizens, especially when they question those in power. AIPC | Civil Society & Policy Research Domain | Ken Betwa Ki Awaaz Just 24 years old. Fighting for tribal rights. Behind bars for more than 25 days. Divya Ahirwar, a young social activist associated with Jai Kisan Sangathan, has been raising her voice for Adivasi families affected by the Ken–Betwa River Linking Project, demanding fair compensation, rehabilitation, and protection of their land and livelihoods. For more than 25 days, Divya has remained behind bars. Her arrest has raised serious questions about democracy, dissent, and the treatment of those fighting for their rights. Is raising the voice of marginalised communities for justice a crime? Is this how a democracy should respond to those demanding their rights? Divya’s mother shares the heartbreaking pain of her daughter’s arrest. Her trembling voice and emotional words reflect the suffering of a mother desperately waiting for her daughter to return home. For more than 25 days, a daughter has been behind bars, and a mother has been counting every passing day, waiting to hold her child again. Her eyes carry tears, but her words reflect extraordinary courage. The allegations surrounding Divya’s arrest deserve a fair and transparent examination, and her legal rights must be protected. Democracy is not merely about elections. It is also about protecting the right to question, protest, and seek justice. Message from Madhu Goud Yaskhi @MYaskhi , Chairman, All India Professionals’ Congress (AIPC) AIPC to Build a Nationwide Pro Bono Legal Support Network for Citizens Madhu Goud Yaskhi, Chairman of the All India Professionals’ Congress (AIPC), has proposed the development of a nationwide network of advocates willing to provide pro bono legal assistance to citizens facing legal cases for expressing their views on public policies, democratic issues, and matters of public interest. Many citizens hesitate to voice their opinions or participate in democratic movements due to the fear of legal action arising from their social media posts or public statements. Access to legal assistance can help ensure that such fears do not prevent citizens from exercising their constitutional rights. Through this initiative, AIPC aims to connect citizens facing genuine legal difficulties with advocates willing to represent them without charging professional fees. The proposed network will complement the work of the Congress Legal Cell, providing an additional avenue of support through experienced advocates and senior legal professionals. The objective is to strengthen access to justice and ensure that citizens facing genuine legal challenges are not left without support. AIPC: Connecting Professional Expertise with Public Service.
