My attempt at discussing what has driven violent riots & wanton destruction in France (not without interruption). I was also reacting to unhelpfully labelling Kemi Badenoch's mention of challenges of migration y'day, as a Trump-like dog whistle #PoliticsLive

Sally Anne Dixon formerly Stephen Dixon who attacked and abused 7 children has now been sent to a women's prison with a mother and baby ward. 'Sally' decided to become a women before sentencing and did these terrible things to children as a man, who btw still has male genitals. The victims were forced to refer to their abuser as a women with a penis! I honestly don't know what the hell is happening

For years, the establishment has told us that immigration is a good thing and has attacked as “far-right” those Europeans who disagreed.
Now, that same establishment is telling us immigration is a weapon being used against us.
These tyrannical bureaucrats are not on our side.
First they told us mass immigration was because of 'war, persecution & climate change', now its all Russias fault...YE LITERALLY INVITED THE WORLD OVER WITH FREEBIES ye absolute headbangers @EUCouncil

A councillor didn't like being mocked on Facebook. The council suggested he call the police on a 15-year-old.
And they came. Four of them.
Canada, watch closely. This is where "online harms" laws lead.
🚨 A 15-year-old boy was woken by four West Midlands Police officers banging on his door.
Fraser, a schoolboy and Reform UK activist, was arrested in front of his neighbours, bundled into a police car and held overnight in a cell. His mugshot and DNA were taken; even his shoes were confiscated. While he was in the cell, officers searched his bedroom at home.
His “crime”? Criticising a Conservative councillor for wearing shorts and a T-shirt to a council meeting, then joking on social media that the councillor “was not looking like a rent boy” when he wore a suit.
Fraser also posted an altered photograph of the councillor wearing bunny ears.
In what self-respecting democracy should a child be arrested for criticising an elected politician?
The Free Speech Union is supporting Fraser and has taken on his case. His lawyers received an email from West Midlands Police stating that “it is alleged that your client’s comments could be considered a hate crime offence”. Months later, Fraser is still waiting to learn whether he will be charged.
Speaking to the New York Post, FSU Director of Legislative Affairs Sam Armstrong said: “Broadly speaking, several thousand people a year are being arrested for… ‘offensive speech’ in the UK.”
Since 2020, the FSU has handled more than 7,000 cases involving people whose free speech has been infringed and who have been punished for exercising it. More than 60,000 people have also been arrested for communications offences in the UK.
The First Amendment protects US citizens’ right to free speech. As Sam told the New York Post, it is the “global gold standard”.

Years ago the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre did a report that showed that African migrants were 10 times more likely to commit rape than Irish men and for East European migrants it was 7 times.
But these days you won't hear a peep from the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre when it comes to migrant rapists in Ireland.

It’s appears that the woke army have come out to defend the “don’t hug a granny” ad because they want you to start to believe that children can consent to being touched.
Get it yet? They want to introduce the notion of child consent. It’s a plan. It isn’t an accident.

We need the faces of whoever came up with such a revolting idea of an ad - they are the real danger
Consent ad controversy: Using Ireland's poor grannies and grandads to explain children’s boundaries was probably a misstep, but the message still matters...

Ugh. Shocking example of busybodies spreading misery in the name of moral progress.
Spreading overgeneralised suspicion is bad for everyone. In this pernicious example, it's far from clear who's supposed to be suspicious of whom, or why.

Since mass migration, Ireland's definitely experiencing a "consent crisis," but I really don't think overly affectionate grandmothers are the source of the problem.

Part 2 of a rather fractious exchange on #PoliticsLive. Difficult discussions too often turn toxic once the challenges of mass immigration/integration are raised as problems, even though I was arguing this is only one aspect of the riots in France.

If “diversity” was positive, the state wouldn’t need to force 20% of your algorithm to promote it.
🇩🇪 Germany plans to force social media platforms to fill at least 20% of algorithmic recommendations with "diversity positive" government-regulator-approved media content.
Public broadcasters like ARD and ZDF would qualify automatically. Private outlets would need "State approval"
You cant make this up.

Aristotle’s three aims of a tyrant: humiliate subjects, create mistrust among them, and render them powerless for action.
For more than a week, we have seen increasingly disturbing images from France and elsewhere in Europe: burning town halls, looted shops and brutal violence.
What has been portrayed as “student protests” increasingly resembles scenes from a civil war.
Behind the mob, there is an uncanny alliance: well-organised left-wing extremists and political Islam. Two movements that could hardly be more different - but united in their rejection of our free and open society.
Both are enemies of the Enlightenment. The far left likes to present itself as its guardian. Yet it marches side by side with those who reject freedom of speech and everything a liberal society stands for.
Beyond the violence itself, what is most shocking is the unwillingness to acknowledge what is happening, or even the apparent attempt to conceal the truth by many.
The violence we are witnessing has nothing to do with legitimate student protest. To me, these scenes reflect the consequences of nearly two decades of failed migration policy.
Unless we change course immediately, we risk seeing the same scenes soon in Berlin, Vienna and Munich.
For years, Hungary and other Central European countries have faced harsh criticism from their Western European neighbours over their approach to migration. Today, Budapest, Warsaw and Prague stand out as islands of calm.

Let’s talk about consent…
The Irish government has decided that grandparents should ask their grandchildren’s consent before they give them a loving hug! 🤦♀️🙄
But the Irish government didn’t think it appropriate to ask anyone’s consent to allow hordes of unvetted men to invade -changing the demographic (which they remind the public of in their ad) and destroying the economy.🤷♀️
How many of those men ask consent to touch women and girls?💔
Family affection? Verboten.
Rape and sexual assault statistics spiralling? Not a problem.😡
