Rough drafts are rolling in and I am so proud of my @UAkronMarketing students. Soo incredibly impressed by the amazing work they’re submitting! My IMC class is designing a campaign for our client (@AkronRubberDuck) and I’m so excited for them to make final recommendations!

Welp! I spent the entire week trying to find that hour I lost last weekend, and definitely never found it! Thank goodness for Spring Break next week!

There’s a lot of chatter about how terrible the design of Great Britain’s baseball uniform is…the creative in me agrees. But the strategic marketer in me thinks this was a great idea. Everyone is talking about the team. Prior years: no one knew they even had a team!

I loathe “spring ahead!” Can we at least move it to a weekday? Why mess with my weekend? Nothing messes with my mind more than losing an hour of time. I will begin recovering when it’s 7:30 pm and still light out. #tradeoffs

One of the best sounds that exists! Hammy calling @CleGuardians games is always music to my ears, but there’s just something extra special about the 1st spring training game & the return of baseball after a long winter!

If we get ten more years of Jose baseball it still won’t be enough. He’s everything that is RIGHT about baseball, and professional sports in general. And he loves Cleveland. He chose us. Over and over. Like a faithful spouse. I do! ❤️⚾️💙🇺🇸🇩🇴@MrLapara @CleGuardians @DreKnott

I officially declare this week best friend week! My week ends with a visit from my best friend of about 30 years. Not sure if anything soothes the soul more than time with a best friend. 👯‍♀️🥰👩‍❤️‍👩

Took my daughter shopping, on a quest for “sports” pajamas (it’s all she wants). After not finding them in the girls’ section, I said “let’s check the boys’ section.” Success! Then she said “Mama, why did we have to get them in the boys’ section? Girls like sports too!” 👧🏻⚾️🏀

If I had $1 for every time one of our @uakron students mentioned how wonderful our campus community is, I’d be retired and living in Hawaii! Thankfully, they make it enjoyable to still be here in Ohio! We have the absolute best students, especially in @UAkronMarketing! 🦘➡️🏝️

This is one of my favorite times of the year. More daylight. Baseball season on the horizon. The Lenten season around the corner. March Madness a month away. Approaching the semester midpoint. Summer can be seen in the distance. So much to look forward to. So much hope.
