My partner Roy wrote the play to celebrate the diversity of Glasgow, of experiences and of the children in his school. Such an uplifting article and you can feel the excitement of the children coming through. All proceeds go to @Refuweegee

All the enthusiastic joggers and speedy runners from P3 and P5 meant that I finished my 100 miles with 2 days to spare. Thankyou Team Langside for the running action but also for everything you do that means I can send my children to a school where they are nurtured, supported and understood @AutismScotland #100milesinOctober
Well done to P5m who helped Nancy achieve another mile of her 100 Mile Run for the National Autistic Society👏 Good luck, Nancy with the rest of your run🥰!

I am so sad to read this. It is no exaggeration to say that Malcolm turned our lives around. We first met him when Dylan was around 3 years old. For the last 18 months we had been subject to weekly tests that found nothing and just caused us immense anxiety creating more unknowns and worry. Dylan had first seen Malcolm in a Gruffalo show and so didn't see him as a doctor, rather he was the fox! Malcolm could see the immense strain Dylan's 'unknown' conditions were causing us and the fear and worry we experienced every time we set foot in the hospital for yet more tests. He was the first doctor who treated us holistically, as a family, and ordered a stop to all tests that were not in Dylan's immediate interests. He got to know all of us, me, Roy, Dylan and Milo and despite the pressures he was under always spent the first part of the consultations asking about us, my studies, Roy drumming, what new thing Milo was interested in. Indeed Roy's 'Roy to Roy presents' of musical instruments came about from Malcolm telling us about the latest guitar he has bought himself (Malcom to Malcolm gifts)! Malcolm took us off the merry go round of hospital tests and anxiety and told us to enjoy our boy. We did, and for that Dr Donaldson, I will always be incredibly grateful for the gift of joy you gave us back and the family you told us to embrace. What a wonderful man you were.

Why are any of those dates/fact important? They show that women were playing football in Scotland from 1880s onwards. That they overcame barriers and succeeded in establishing the game. Today we celebrate those who led the way. #50YearsOn #SWPL #SWF @MostUnsuitable

For women, successful sentencing provided a validation of their experiences and public acknowledgment of its impact upon their own lives, their children and wider family and friends.
Today we publish a report examining how victim-survivors of domestic abuse view sentencing in Scotland. Conducted by @CaledonianNews, it provides insights as we continue our work on developing a domestic abuse guideline. Read more: bit.ly/46Jtc5q

Thankyou Gavin for your insightful and thoughtful comments about our article. It is indeed shocking - making the work we all do to bring voices to the fore, to challenge attitudes and help transform existing systems all the more critical.

🎉 Today is historic! The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) is now part of Scots law, making children's rights legally enforceable in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. Let’s celebrate this huge milestone & thank all the children & young people who campaigned to make this possible. ❤️🛡️👏🏾

We did it. Buffer zones are now law. We want to pay tribute to those who chose to speak through us and make their voices heard. This simply wouldn’t have been possible without every single one of you. Thank you. 💗
