Little green shoots. I was lapsed for 37 years, now I go to Mass every Sunday. It's a small but very dynamic congregation. We do good works, the homilies are deep and very thoughtful We also have a new young African priest. Not a panacea, but our parish will survive.

What a hero 👏🏼😎
I love how most of the animals stop running and look back at their saviors, its like an unspoken "Thank you, I will remember you."

Every Sunday I go to Mass and am very grateful indeed for the privilege and for the Priest who celebrates Mass Close enough nearby, there's a Mass Rock where any Catholic risked death for attending Mass. That happened.... @onwardmyhawkmen @declanganley @EoinLenihan @IrelandMeda
Another lapsed Catholic is glad he doesn’t go to Mass. Apparently this merits a story or something. Yet I find myself sort of agreeing on one thing, Mass without a ‘piano’ is very often, better. I happened to go to a weekday Mass earlier today, no piano either. The church I was in, thankfully, doesn’t even have a piano anywhere to be seen. Now add a good organist or Gregorian chant, and we’re cooking on gas.

That is shocking violence by anybody least of all by somebody supposed to uphold the law. Clearly there is a culture problem and those at the top are responsible for the culture in any organisation

No wonder there's trouble in the world when institutions responsible for " Justice" are so brutalized
Police punch Hispanic man already pinned to ground—22 times. Officer had already shot him with taser. "He stiffly hit the ground after being tased, and his head banged on asphalt," said witness. "Cop mounts him and starts beating—later 3 more piled on." Just because man was standing in the road blocking some traffic. Witnesses say he looked like he was having a mental episode—and was not trying to harm anyone. Emergency crews were called and took the man to the hospital. Local police confirmed the incident occurred at 3:15 pm—but released no other details except to say it was "under review." Incident occurred on Auburn Way near 37th Street NE in Auburn, Washington.

It's called, I think , "rightous anger" ❤️❤️
A dear friend sent me these pictures from Lourdes where the super ugly mosaics made to depict the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary by the dirt bag Rupnik were covered up. 👏 Now, maybe they should get Rupnik there with a chisel in his hands and make him destroy his "art". Prayers he will be laicized ASAP. 🙏

It does my head in.. Far as I can see, Irish women have been sold short by women in Government. Am I surprised? Absolutely not @IrelandMeda @TomOHanlon17 @dolphinmaria @NaturalWomensIE
Irish woman fought hard for the freedom to dress how we like have a drink and get home safe. That isn’t up for negotiation, and integration has to mean everyone who lives here accepts it.

I really don't understand why Irish students are so passive-their future is being sequestered by a shower of warmongers and wannabe TD's in mainstream "politics". Tom, Ed Horgan ++ are fighting their battles @ucddublin @USI @tcddublin @TheBurkeanIE @PatLeahyIT @michael0797506
My generation did their rebelling in their 20s. Now we have a cohort of rebels in their 50s, 60s and 70s!

BREAKING UPDATE: SOME WONDERFUL NEWS OUT OF OREGON! 7-YEAR-OLD SCHOOL SHOOTING SURVIVOR IS OUT OF THE ICU! Little Saylor Graham-Poarch, the 7-year-old girl who was critically injured in the horrific October 15 school shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon. SAYLOR IS OUT OF INTENSIVE CARE AND IS NOW IN STABLE CONDITION! ❤️ Her family confirmed the incredible news in a statement released Monday, October 26. Saylor was one of the children inside a special education classroom when a 16-year-old former student opened fire, killing three young boys, ages 5, 8, and 11, along with their 25-year-old teacher, Megan Lambert. Saylor survived, but her injuries were critical. This precious little girl was already facing significant challenges before the shooting. She lives with CASK, a rare genetic condition that affects her development. She uses a wheelchair and relies on a tablet to help communicate. And yet, those who know her describe a little girl with an incredible spirit and a beautiful love for music and dancing. Now, nearly two weeks after the unimaginable tragedy, her family finally has some encouraging news. While they acknowledge that Saylor has a long road to recovery, they are grateful that their little girl is still here. Even in their moment of relief, her family has not forgotten those who lost their lives. They expressed their heartbreak for the families of the three children and teacher who were killed and thanked everyone who has prayed for Saylor and supported them throughout this nightmare. Please continue praying for Saylor. Pray for her healing, her recovery, and the strength of her family. And please remember the families who will never get to bring their loved ones home. Four innocent lives were stolen that day. We must never forget them. But today, in the middle of so much heartbreak, there is a reason to celebrate. Keep fighting, sweet Saylor. An entire nation is cheering you on. ❤️🙏
