🔥 I FOUND THE SAME FIVE RESEARCHERS BEHIND THE SEPTEMBER 2026 BIS XRPL PAPER SPEAKING AT THE 2025 SDMX GLOBAL CONFERENCE, HOSTED IN ROME BY THE BANK OF ITALY 🔥👇🏻
The official conference recording has accumulated just 35 views to date, yet it provides important context for understanding the BIS paper published almost a year later.
At this Bank of Italy-hosted conference, the same five researchers who would later co-author BIS Working Paper No. 1374 were already publicly presenting their blockchain research — including their XRPL proof of concept and comparisons with Ethereum and Chainlink.
In other words, the September 2026 BIS paper on the XRP Ledger did not emerge out of nowhere.
Almost a full year earlier, the researchers behind the later BIS paper were already publicly presenting and discussing the underlying work that would subsequently appear in the BIS publication.

The $15.5 TRILLION asset manager is working with SBI and Startale, the companies behind JPYSC, a stablecoin tied to the Japanese yen.
They want to see if tokenized money market funds can plug into JPYSC.
SBI's chairman says the shift to onchain finance "is becoming an unavoidable global trend."
