To all my former Twitter pals who are still glued to this nasty platform,
SEASON'S GREETINGS part 1
[part 2 tomorrow]
Have had a quick peak at Twitter again, after several months' absence. It's like walking on beautiful Wandsworth Common in the days before Poop Bags. Why aren't more of you maths ed people on BlueSky?

This is so bleedin' daft. How often did Pele play teams like Luxembourg?

A brilliant article. A shame it wasn't shouted from the roof tops before last year's election, how the slash'n'burn Tories painted Labour into a corner about not raising taxes. If only we lived in a mature democracy!
Replying to @HarMath @dmarain @pwharris @howie_hua @MathsCirclesOz @mATH_e_matics @MrValencia24 @letsplaymath
The nice thing about 2) and 3) is that they BOTH show 4x5 and 5x4

I've put a couple of pages from the book on BlueSky

Lovely theorem, with an absurdly simple proof (once you see it!)
[I trust people have had time to work on this themselves, so it's not a huge spoiler...]
If you've bought ALGEBRADABRA from ATM, then you might find the student book useful: it contains the 100 algebra items but without the commentary. UK teachers can order a 'FREE' copy of the student book from Dexter Graphics for just the cost of postage:

One approach is to think of the LOGO Turtle tracing the path.
How many degrees does it turn through?
How do the angles it turns through relate to the given angles?
BluSky seems to have been reduced to a trickle. I'm enjoying not reading the X-Tweets, but has everyone else been sucked back in?!
