Tuning into #Skyscraper Live tonight to watch the greatest exhibition of sport psychology and mindfulness [maybe ever]. Alex Honnold is an absolute hero of focus. So excited to watch this. Much needed distraction from everything going on too... He's going to do it, mark my words

Honestly the best outcome. Hopefully @jynxzi's fanbase sees it as a reason to pick up the game. "Maybe it isn't as hard to play as I thought."
Jynxzi just BEAT Musty 16 seconds in after practising all week. All it took was a KICK OFF!

Focus on Input rather than Output. I feel a lot of the time we focus more on the result or outcome of something, rather then how much and the quality of work we are putting in!

What holds many people back from taking initiative is not laziness. It's fear. Inaction breeds rumination and feeds anxiety. Action builds momentum and fuels confidence. Some ideas won't work. Some people will say no. But in the long run, it's better to fail than to fail to try.

Gonna be brief I’m voting for @KamalaHarris to be President of the United States. I believe in a woman’s right to choose what to do with her own body among a plethora of other reasons I was gonna share but then this article dropped and well… I don’t think I need to justify my reasons… Why the hell would I want to vote for someone who yearns for Nazi generals and considers those who disagree with him “the real enemy within”!? Nah I’m good that’s not normal. Harris is more than qualified for the job being the only candidate to work in all three branches of government over her career and has support across party lines. Her opponent had to replace his VP cause he tried to get him killed when he refused to break the law… The choice wad very simple for me. Take care and be safe.

The full experience of emotion is so much more nuanced than “good vs bad”. All emotion has purpose and reminds us that we are alive.
Grief is not a purely negative emotion. Over time, it becomes bittersweet—sadness is joined by love and gratitude. Nostalgia is a healthy response to loss. Longing for the past motivates us to appreciate the present and improve the future. The goal of coping is not to erase pain. It's to gain purpose.

To say I am extremely proud of this team is an understatement. I've been casting for Kansas for over 2 and a half years, and to see them finally surmount the hill that is CRL is incredible. From @KUspader being the one to introduce me not just to Esports at KU but the school itself, to the Eagles fan I'm happy to call my friend @chura_rl, to the new kid on the block @Sauce_rl. I've been waiting for this day for a long time. A huge accomplishment for these 3, and the guys behind the scene making it happen. Shoutout @ProfSportPsych and @dannyoconnell_ for making sure things run smoothly, and congratulations to you two. So happy to see this program succeed. Rock Chalk ❤️💙 @KansasEsport

Between the Faze situation at worlds and the bubble scene conversation now, hrs-past-2 has been talked about A LOT The stat is used to measure one’s commitment to the game, and for this, it’s good. But it’s worth note, there is such a thing as playing too much. As someone who seriously practiced guitar from 13-22, not all practice hours are equal. Playing through already-learned pieces did nothing to help me improve, it only kept me at the place I already was. Real practice came in pushing my mind, learning new pieces, but most of all, DRILLING FUNDAMENTALS, especially the ones I was weak in. Pushing your mind is uncomfortable, the same way physically working out is uncomfortable. You can feel the new neural paths being laid. It’s not fun, in fact that’s the main reason we always avoid it: it’s boring. Mind numbingly boring. But it is literally irreplaceable for getting ACTUALLY better at something. Many of the people bragging about having 100+ past 2 are not using their time wisely. Rather, they are grinding ranked and calling it “practice.” It *feels* productive because it’s time consuming. But I mean it when I say 1 hour a day of actively, intentionally working on fundamentals is worth more than 4 hours of ranked.* Putting in more than 40 hours a week is a collision course for burnout. It could also be an emotional dependency on the game, neither of which are healthy long term. But either way, if you are putting in 80 past 2 and not seeing improvement, the solution is not more hours, but rather improving the quality of the hours you are already booking. Anyone who is serious about fitness and muscle growth will also tell you about how important rest and balance is. Your brain is a muscle, overworking it will not improve it. *I’m not devaluing the “real-world” experience of ranked, but the reason you missed that double tap that would have won you the game isn’t because you hadn’t had the pressure before, it’s because you haven’t drilled that shot until it’s automatic.
