Well said and explained…
There is perfect and conclusive evidence that the seal depicts Pashupati-Shiva. However, the colonialist scholars misinterpret and confuse folks.
The comparison between Pashupati-Shiva seal and Proto-Elamite sitting bull shows you how they overlook the important details and isolate a single-most useless feature to mislead the discussion.
1. The Pashupati-Shiva seal shows most characteristic features of Hindu deities and commonly associated with Shiva- three faced- we see the front face and profiles of on both sides of the face. A characteristic feature of Shiva and Hinduism. Multiple faces and multiple hands are typical Hindu feature just like multiple names. Nobody can deny this is our god.
What do they do? don’t take notice of multiple heads
2. The seal shows rhino, bull, tiger, elephant, and deer. Indian animals pashu (domestic animals like bull) and mriga (wild animals like deer and others) are always connected with Shiva. Pashupati-Shiva is the one providing food for all beings in the universe. Life and death depends on that- that’s the reason Shiva and Annapurna Devi represent the lord of death and life in Varanasi.
What do they do? Don’t take notice of Indian animals. Don’t mention deer commonly associated with Shiva to mislead discussion.
3. The most difficult and dangerous yoga posture- Mulabandhasana with erect phallus. This is the most characteristic feature of Shiva, perfect yogi.
What do they do? They don’t identify the yoga posture, don’t mention the phallus (lingam) the most characteristic feature of Pashupati-Shiva.
4. There is nothing in common between the Pashupati-Shiva seal and the proto-Elamite anthropomorphic bull seal. The Pashupati-Shiva depicts a multi-headed deity with typical features associated with him commonly known Indian animals. He is not anthropomorphic but wearing a horned crown commonly used to represent his position as lord of animals. So the Elamite bull couldn’t have much to do the Pashupati-Shiva image. That Elamite-bull just had his horns naturally, not a crown. The bull is not surrounded by any animals to show he is the “lord of animals”. Horns are inconsequential feature of the Pashupati-Shiva seal other than functional as a crown of the lord of animals (Pashupati), not so in the case of proto-Elamite seal.
5. Pashupati-Shiva is lord of all animals not just domestic animals. That’s the reason the mriga (deer) is always depicted with him as a symbol. They confuse you with animal motifs but that’s just a mistake to consider Pashupati-Shiva as lord of only few animals but not all. Pashupati is lord of animals; all animals. Our texts didn’t specify any animals as his select group. Discussion on Pashu is how the colonialist linguistics have mislead discussion on Sanskrit terms to derive the meanings they wanted and oppress us with their superiority of argumentative rhetoric. That’s how they derived ‘Aryans’ and imposed on us.
Overall conclusion: First, Colonialist academics overlook important details and focus on marginal details like the horns in this depiction discussed in Pashupati-Shiva seal. They use marginal details to overstate their conclusion and override the obvious conclusion.
Second, they over interpret isolated Sanskrit terms to supersede obvious concepts to impose a new unusual meaning to change commonly understood concepts.
Please counter their superfluous interpretations, comparisons, and conclusions.
This seal unquestionably shows Pashupati-Shiva.

Imagine dismissing @ProfVemsani like this.
The audacity
This is a good example of the historian's fallacy, in which events of the past are judged by what we have in our own time.
In this example, it is assumed that the multiple versions of gods and goddesses have existed that way since the beginning, and not that different gods and goddesses were combined over time, which is what we commonly see through history in many countries.
This fallacy happens most often with religion, because present-day adherents assume that the way it is now is the way it always has been, but only with their own faith and not that of others. It can happen even to someone holding a Ph.D., if their belief system is stronger than their devotion to the historical method.
This person even goes so far as to accuse historians who look at her religion in a secular fashion as "colonialist," even though they approach all religions this way.

Another major narrative of these people (whites & Indian Marxist propagandists) is to label Hindu gods as tribal deities. That way they aim to create confusion about the actual antiquity of Hinduism, by disconnecting Hinduism from all the pre-proto-ancient history of India. Their claim has always been that everything ancient is tribal, while Hinduism came into existence only from the Gupta era.
That is why the Harappan era Pashupatinath seal becomes a seated tribal deity, and all SSVC figures are arbitrarily termed as tribal in nature, with no connect to Hinduism. Some even bring in proto-Elamite and other ridiculous angles, in their desperation to show western influence on the SSVC.
They keep saying - ‘we need to analyse Hinduism from a secular perspective’, and they use that ‘secular perspective’ to cleverly dissociate all Hindu gods and beliefs from Hinduism. Secular study of Hinduism also gives them the license to sexualise Hindu gods, wherein Maa Kali becomes an object of wild lust, and even the trunk of Ganesha is viewed as a sexual object.
The target is one - dismantling of the last standing ancient polytheistic religion, which is Hinduism.
They have always denied existence of Hinduism in Sindhu-Saraswati Civilization (SSC) previously known as Indus Valley Civilization. It’s crucial for them to deny it because it helps with the “Hinduism came from outside” theory. The Aryan invasion theory is much more insidious than it seems. #NoAryans but they still deny any evidence of Hinduism in SSC and resort to name calling when we oppose that theory. However, in the presence of electronics and social media that type of claims fall flat very quickly. This would ha taken a hundred year in the absence of social media. Imagine Elamite seal to Pashupati-Shiva seal comparison. It would have taken a century to counter it in the absence of electronics and social media.

After the clear cut guidelines from 2023 Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Studen…), it is extremely dishonest to draw a false equivalence between US Affirmative action and India.
Anyway, I respect America for its ability to self-correct and see through the sham of this stupid poisonous idea of relaxing standards for the sake of representational justice.
Unfortunately unlike America it is a some vidhan compliant ideal in India.
Also unlike US the majority communities are beneficiaries of this lowered standards regime here in India.
We can't even have status quo quotas now i.e. restricting to 50% ceiling. We want to keep incrementing and we want to take it close to 100%.
Private sector reservation also is a teaser topic these days. Many talk about it.
Progressive politics on both sides of the aisle demand constant increments and progress in the quota regime.
Jai Some Vidhan 🙏🫡
Jai Quotacracy 💙 🌺
The Affirmative Action is not a quota system and it’s not mandatory state system like Indian reservation system. Many states have race blind admissions since the late 90s. Not even the private schools are using affirmative action now in the US. So don’t make false equivalence with reservation system. Reservation system is a state mandated quota system. That was never the case in the US- America hates quotas!

It has come to my attention that the US has formally designated The Resistance Front, the Lashkar-e-Taiba front group responsible for the massacre, as a Terrorist Organisation. The US has acted in holding Pakistan to account, the UK Government must follow. #Pahalgam
One year since the Pahalgam massacre, 26 innocent people were murdered by Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists sponsored from Pakistan. The victims were identified by their religion and killed. Terrorism that targets people for their faith is an attack on all of humanity. #Pahalgam

They call our gods forest gods or folk gods absorbed/assimilated into Hinduism. As if there is some kind of Hinduism outside India brought by invaders or migrants who absorbed gods either forcefully or friendly conversion into invader Hinduism. These colonialists and their faithful sepoys (morphed as the Left) don’t have any innovation- they parrot the same theory for all gods.
