They're trying to meme the scene in The Menu where ATJ orders a cheeseburger and I for one am not having it
Too demotivated and bound by circumstance to do a proper Halloween costume this year so I'm just throwing on an Eraserhead T-shirt and saying I'm Ken Russell
Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In is an absolute blast. An elaborate mix of intense action and claustrophobic melodrama set against the backdrop of Kowloon's Walled City in a great example of location-as-character.
Rewatched Miami Vice (2006). A good movie to catch most of on TV and just vibe to, whatever the circumstances. Jose Yero is one of cinema's all-time betas.
Rewatched Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha Hood. Kind of ridiculous that this is the first Leprechaun film I've rewatched, but ridiculous is the order of the day with this franchise (and this one in particular).
Rewatched Child's Play 2. Might still be my favourite Chucky film as it maintains a good mix of the edge of the early films and the camp of the later ones. Killer third act.
Absurd how the zombie holds this woman's face just long enough for Bautista to pull out a gun and start aiming before actually breaking her neck. It's like this was supposed to be slo-mo but Snyder forgot and shot it at regular speed instead.
Always funny when a cinema does a rep screening for a film that's <5 years old, especially one that didn't seem that popular in the first place. Do people care that much about Late Night with the Devil?
The thing is that, while this is admittedly a clever action beat, the clip conveniently chops out the prolonged aftermath where Pitt does this unfunny, self-effacing monologue about Beetz's incompetence while watching her die a slow and painful death. That's why it sucks.
Might actually have to watch it before they Artemis Fowl it
Sony has officially cancelled the global theatrical release of Klara and the Sun following poor reviews and box office returns. bit.ly/47Qo6pi
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The linked Collider article, citing Hobby Consolas, only reports a cancelled theatrical release in Spain, not a global one. The film has already opened in cinemas in the US, UK, France, Italy and Australia.

Innocent Blood. The whole idea of a vampire turning a mob boss and then having to stop him when he starts turning his underlings is too good to waste on John Landis.
Are there any movies you actually WANT to see remade?
Not classics that already got it right, but films with great concepts that deserved a much better execution, or adaptations that strayed too far from their source material.
WORLD WAR Z is a perfect example. The book’s oral-history format could make for an incredible anthology series.
What movie deserves a second chance?
