Russell is correct here. But the same applies to Zoopla Limited, PD Innovations Limited (Boomin) and others. Any portal owned by a Plc or company Ltd by shares will always be a long term risk for agents and their expenditure.

Trust and challenger portals; even if all agents gravitated towards R4P (for example!), in 10 years time if a big greedy fish offered R4P £50 million, R4P would bite their hands off! And agents would be stuck again. Same with most other challenger portals.

Agents have 3 options:
1. Do nothing and stay with RM.
2. Risk backing another private share-ltd company (OTM/ZPG/OB/HS/R4P/RP etc).
3. Back the only mutual offering in @PropertyMutual.
Be interesting to see if agents bang on about a mutual for years and then do nothing. 🤔🤷🏽♂️
