Proscia has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by @Agilent.
For over a decade, our mission has been to rewire pathology for precision medicine. Joining Agilent brings the scale and resources to deliver on that mission faster, for the same customers and team that got us here.

Concentriq is mission-critical for pathology labs and drug developers. When a problem comes up, every minute counts.
Standard monitoring tools can tell you a request was slow. We needed to know which step in processing a specific slide slowed down and for which customer.
So our engineering team built a new observability system on AWS, which shows engineers what’s happening inside Concentriq, not only that something is slow. It collects telemetry, the performance data Concentriq produces as it runs, and keeps that history indefinitely.
When a problem shows up in that data, engineers now trace the cause in a median of 10 minutes. The system is built to meet Concentriq’s compliance obligations, including privacy rules like HIPAA and GDPR.
Customers benefit too. Labs can see how their teams use Concentriq, and IT teams can feed this data into their own monitoring tools.
AWS featured the work by our Vice President of Technology Operations, Jeff Rhude, and our Senior Reliability Engineer, Kyriakos Toulgaridis, on its Storage Blog. aws.amazon.com/blogs/storage…
We’ll be collaborating with Columbia University to identify biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
Columbia is world-renowned for its pathology leadership, research, and patient care. Combined with our pathology AI expertise, we aim to drive new discoveries that link biomarker and therapeutic development.

When SpecialtyVETPATH’s ocular pathologist needed to relocate to Massachusetts for family reasons, remote collaboration went from a nice-to-have to a mission-critical priority.
There was just one catch: Dr. Jennifer Ward, DVM, CEO and Co-Laboratory Director, had no IT background and no in-house IT team to help her with the transition.
Instead of backing down, Dr. Ward took on the learning curve herself. She tapped into her network across academia and human pathology and led her lab through the complexities of going digital.

“Epic-native” is often used loosely, but for health systems and academic medical centers running Epic Beaker, the distinction matters.

For over a decade, our mission has been to rewire pathology for precision medicine.
Since we shared our vision, change across diagnostic laboratories and life sciences organizations has only sped up. There’s still a lot of work ahead to make precision medicine the standard, but the beliefs behind that future remain the same.

Kary Rogers spent more than 15 years leading enterprise support at networking and security companies, where a product failure means nobody works. That is where he learned what mission-critical means.
At Proscia, the stakes carry a different weight. Our customers’ work informs a diagnosis with real impact on patients and their loved ones, shaping how we build and support our product.

Companion diagnostic programs rarely follow a fixed path. Biomarkers evolve, new algorithms emerge, and the partners or technologies needed later in development may look very different from those needed at the start. The architecture supporting those programs should leave room for that evolution.
At Biomarkers, CDx & Precision Medicine Europe, Labcorp's Dr. Paul Mesange will share how an open approach with our Concentriq platform can support biomarker discovery and CDx development from early exploratory work through late-phase bridging studies, without requiring sponsors to commit to a closed technology ecosystem before a program's viability is known.
Join his session on October 13 at 15:20 in Conference Room 9, then visit the Proscia team at Stand 69.
