‼️ WARNING - A researcher just dropped a report on Tailscale SSH flaws — one compromised device could get root on others, and there’s NO PATCH yet. In lab tests, SSH port forwarding enabled privilege escalation and lateral movement across already-permitted devices. Tailscale says a fix is coming. Read - thehackernews.com/2026/10/un…

🚨 Europas Behörden gehen offline. Das wird sehr sehr sehr übel enden. Zwei kritische Lücken in PHP. Betroffen sind laut BSI potenziell alle Versionen ab PHP 5, also zwanzig Jahre Code. Oktober, Bescheid.

‼️ A critical Signal bug could keep your microphone, and possibly your camera, live after you hang up. The other caller can flood the call's event queue so your hang-up is never processed. Dubed CVE-2026-113380 it scored 9.3 and got fixed in September.

‼️ A leaked Cellebrite flyer shows forensic labs a remote iPhone unlock appliance with a range of about 8 metres. It covers the iPhone 11 to 16, even with Stolen Device Protection on. The blogger who got it suspects a Bluetooth bug Apple quietly patched.

‼️BREAKING: Cellebrite unveiled zero-day LOKI, a boot ROM exploit for Apple chips from iPod touch 2 to iPhone 11. Its Hexacon slide calls it a timing race that some early proofs of concept won just 1 in 25 times. Boot ROM code is burned into the chip. No update can fix it.

UPDATE: I can confirm that the Ledger supply chain is compromised in Europe as well. @Ledger should initiate an immediate product recall to protect users. I just purchased a second device from a different Mediamarkt location today, recorded the unboxing process, and discovered spyware once again (video linked in the second tweet). The device was compromised in the exact same manner, featuring identical modifications (such as additional cables and an LTE module). This indicates its a widespread issue rather than an isolated incident, potentially affecting Ledger inventory across MediaMarkt and Saturn stores throughout Europe (comprising over 1,000 stores across 11 countries). My initial hypothesis was that these devices were returns that looked unopened to the employees and were just sold again as new however, a MediaMarkt employee confirmed that the device I purchased was not a return, and that returned Ledgers are sent directly back to the manufacturer rather than resold. Store records show the inventory originated from Aqipa GmbH. While Ledger's CTO was unsure if Aqipa serves as the direct distributor between Ledger and MediaMarkt, it appears to be the case. Given that Aqipa distributes across Europe, any physical retail store receiving stock through them may be at risk. I sent the first ledger to mark and the second one is going to ledger now, so that they can analyse it. If you purchased a ledger from anyone other than the official ledger store, make sure to check your device!!

‼️ BREAKING: Denmark says unauthorised parties accessed the names, addresses and ID-numbers of about 8.8 million people in its central population register. The country has only 6 million residents; the total includes emigrants and the dead. Attackers abused a private Danish company's lawful access to the register, abused during September. Police are investigating.

Data breach in Denmark 🇩🇰, affecting 8.8 million people: The following has been compromised for all living danish citizens, even some dead ones, and foreign nationals which have had residence in Denmark: - Social security number - Age - Sex - Family relations - Physical address - Protected addresses - Sex change Denmark's Education and Digitization Minister Christina Egelund: "It is a deeply serious incident that I have therefore also briefed on the Danish Business and Digitization Committee. Together with all relevant authorities, we are in the process of mapping the full extent of the incident." This is bad; really bad. Also, keep in mind that Denmark is one of the countries that already has a Digital ID system in place. If they can't keep data safe, how should their citizens be able to trust new systems? ufm.dk/aktuelt/pressemeddele…

🚨 GOOGLE IS KILLING ANDROID FREEDOM. 🚨 This #DiDay we call on you to take action & sign the petition:  change.org/p/keep-android-op… Because Google must not decide what you can & can't download on YOUR Android device. This undermines one of Android’s defining features: the freedom to install software from wherever you choose. 😤 #Android is supposed to be open, & your phone should be yours → NOT GOOGLES. It’s time to support open alternatives like @GrapheneOS ✊ Find out more: tuta.com/blog/android-side-l…
