I DID IT! Finished the salon layout for #100devs. Decided to add my own creative twist to it. Is a salon where you game realistic? Probably not. Did I have fun making this? Probably yes. Excited to start JavaScript next!

Someone pretending to be Malwarebytes just submitted a false copyright strike on our first #100Devs video.
That video is now down and was the starting point for our community. The comments, people encouraging others to learn, the celebrations from folx returning to announce jobs... all gone.
My Youtube is not even monetized. I just want people to be able to learn and yt makes the content accessible for so many.
Looking into self hosting and starting the legal process of countering which can take up to 10 days.

✅Finished #CS50's N0 V0W3LS practice problem. It replaces vowels typed in the command line with numbers.
Tomorrow I am going to code a password checker.

Between moving to a new place and the holidays coming up, life has been crazy for me. Managed to squeeze in some coding today.

Pushed through a cold to do some code studies🤧Making up for the Thanksgiving break I'm taking Thursday! 🦃
✅Took notes on about 2 hours worth #CS50 week 2 video shorts. Covered Functions, Scope, Debugging, Arrays, and Command Line Arguments.

Finished taking notes for lecture 2 of #CS50!
Went over arrays, exit codes, command line arguments, and even how to make an ASCII dragon 🐉
Starting the bonus video shorts for CS50 next!
Yeah, I know. But it was part of the challenge I was doing at the time. Make something with floats so I know how to deal with them, and make it with regular CSS.
Sure better options exist, I ended up trying Tailwind later. Not what I was learning at the time I made this though.
I believe this project was my first larger scale project using CSS, it took quite a lot of time, didn't even use flexbox or grid for it. Painstakingly used floats so I'd know how to deal with them.
...yeah it took a lot of time🙃

At the time I was trying to figure out how it all worked together. I can beautify my variables now that I know better.
Exactly, it helped to get that spaced repetition in. I feel the information solidifying in my neurons.
If you haven't tried CS50 yet I do recommend it! What areas do you specifically want to improve in your programming?
It helps to review old code you completed and try to find areas that can be made more efficient or at least neater.
I'm glad that I didn't forget everything I learned in CS50 during my break, week 1 went a little faster this time! 😊

Went back to my old code to experiment with creating functions in C, instead of trying to put everything into the main function. Also resolved old problem sets.
