I'll just give a summary of what carrots do:
they stall or repel certain enemies and you get a finite amount of them per night; it was an addition to add some sort of Pikmin mechanic to Fnaf gameplay.
Also hallucinations are just rare events that can be toggled lol

yea its not public yet because of the mass quantity of pikmin sublevels that need to be imported
