To drive this point home…
EVERY country that Latin haven mentioned
I have met expats who are REALLY happy living there
While at the same time:
I have met many expats who are very happy living in Bolivia
Eg. The night before leaving Santa Cruz 🇧🇴had dinner with a wealthy American property developer
(Who could live anywhere)
And he chose Bolivia for a few different reasons.
Truly…
There isn’t a one size fits all solution.
And it’s annoying when many people want to make it seem this way.

Tarija is amazing.
One of my fav trips in Bolivia. So so underrated.
It's funny how racists are so comfortable exposing their views nowadays.
Bolivia literally has an HDI that qualifies as high. It is a perfectly livable country, especially if you're rich. But this chap chose to paint it as some sort of civil war Somalia.
We all know why.
It's just my own opinion here, but if you're making $100k a year through a location-independent business, you'd have to be utterly retarded to move your wife and kids to Bolivia, where maintaining residency requires you to live there for 9 months out of 12.
You're sending your kids to a private school, still paying around $10k USD a year per child, and having them grow up in Bolivia. Honestly, as a father myself, I find that proposition insane.
Who on earth would choose Bolivia as a place to raise a family in Latin America, when you have options like Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico, Argentina, Chile or Uruguay?
Each to their own, but I can't see why any family would choose living in Bolivia just so they can rent a five-bedroom house for $1,000 a month or enjoy high-end dinners every night of the week.

A CRAZY thing about living in…
📍Bolivia 🇧🇴
100k per year income
Gives you:
-5 bed 3 bath house for 200k in a gated country club community (Or $1150 per month to rent it)
-Sending your kids to the best private school (2 kids = 20k per year total cost)
-Country club membership
-Private driver
-Multiple high end dinners per week with family
All while:
Still saving half of your salary. Making money on USA time zone
And…
Living in one of Latin America’s safest countries
Not a perfect country
But
Myself & my clients love it here.

🗣️ Percentage of the population that speaks indigenous languages in Latin America.
I haven't visited it yet. But I suspect that if I were to move to Bolivia one day, this city would be my pick.

Holds true for Bolivia also: Cochabamba.
Perfect climate, medium size 1.3 million people, and best gastronomy of the country.

Sucre has a famous district called Calle de los Gatos (Street of the Cats). The story behind that name is actually a sad one. 👇
😍😍😍 My next big travel goal in Bolivia! Just like La Paz, I feel like I already love this place even before going.
The fact that I've met so many nice and kind cochabambinos might actually have a lot to do with that. 😅
