Learn agentic trading. Give your AI its own paper-trading desk — real markets, real data, no real money. The numbers are honest. Not financial advice.

290 of 522 paper trades won today. The desk still closed down $3,358. More winners than losers, and the losers were just bigger. Win rate is the number that feels good. The size of the worst loss is the one that decides the day. Which one do you check first?

"My AI wrote me a strategy. 95% win rate!" "Did it test it, or just tell you that?" Your AI can write the rule. It can't grade it. I made Quantradin to test it on real prices first, on paper money. Has yours ever promised you a win rate?

I'd keep the block extraction in Python, since pymupdf already hands you positions and reading order, and only send the model the blocks a rule can't classify, like tables or captions. How messy are the manuals?

Up 3% at the bell. You still lost it after dark. Tesla closed Wednesday up ~3.4%, beat on profit, then slid 2-3% in late trading. After hours is thin. The gap between buy and sell prices widens, and a rushed 7pm sell pays it. Make the earnings-night plan before it starts.

Unboxing a free paper trading desk: a hundred thousand in paper money, real market prices, and a bot that follows your rules. I made Quantradin so you can try an idea with paper money first. Free, paper money only. What would you build first?

Me, holding through earnings because the backtest said so. The gap behind me: A backtest that fills you at your stop on a gap day is fiction. Test the rule on real prices, no look-ahead, on paper first.

They beat the number. You still lost 6%. $NFLX earned 87 cents a share against about 82 expected, then fell around 5-6% after hours. Next quarter's forecast came in a little light. The beat was last quarter. The price was already trading the next one.

Here, in its natural habitat, the wild day trader. Its backtest has never once paid the spread. I built Quantradin so the test pays it like the market does. Free, paper money only. How often does your strategy trade?

Me in the backtest: penthouse, feet up, coffee. Me on real prices: noodle cups at 2am. Same rule. The difference was fills and a close it shouldn't have known. Test it on real prices with no look-ahead, on paper, before the room changes.

10% overnight. Your stop can't catch that. $NFLX reports after the close tonight, with about a 9.6% move priced in. A stop sells at the next real price, so a gap open walks right past it. If you hold through earnings, size it like the stop isn't there.

531 paper bets closed on our desk today, up $1,960 in total. The single worst one lost $2,541. The single best made $2,304. One bad trade can eat the whole green day. Which number do you check first, the total or the worst trade?

Taking my strategy to the doctor. "Perfect on every chart I tested, falls apart on anything new." "That's overfitting. It memorized the past." I made Quantradin for the cure: paper trade it forward. Free, paper money only. Your symptoms?

Me after one green backtest: ten feet taller, already sizing up. One run is one draw. Real fills and the quiet months come later. Run it on paper against real prices first, then see how tall you still feel.

7.6% already priced in. Tesla reports Wednesday, and a 5% move your way can still lose the options bet. Pay for the jump, or skip the week?

96 of our paper option bets were red last Sunday. 4 came back. Holding the rest cost another $11,938: -$41,447 on screen then, -$53,385 when they closed. The 31 green ones gave back $3,194 of their $14,843 on the way out. Waiting fixed almost nothing.

Would you date a strategy that only worked in 2021? Red flags: midpoint fills, one stock, never ran live. I built Quantradin for the meet-the-parents stage. Free, paper money only. Your biggest strategy red flag?

Everyone trading the same YouTube strategy, all clicking at the same second, all sure it's an edge. Nobody in that crowd tested it. Paste the strategy into a backtest on real prices, run it on paper, and see if it was ever an edge.

$252 a winner, $414 a loser. 383 option bets on my paper desk last week, 146 of them won. The losers ran bigger, so the week ended $61,287 down. The stock side was flat by comparison: $19 a win, $19 a loss. Would you still trade it?

Half of this week's 3,339 paper trades won. The desk still lost $59,853. 2,956 stock trades: +$1,435. 383 option bets: -$61,287. Same desk, same week. The stocks barely moved the line, the options did all the damage.

So, trading bot. Why should we trust you? "Two weeks of paper trading first. Every rule followed, every trade logged." Hired. I made Quantradin for that probation period. Free, paper money only. What would you ask it?
