16 y/o Mexican student wins a gold medal at an international science fair for inventing a fire extinguisher that uses sound waves instead of water or chemicals ๐๐ฅ
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The 16 y/o Mexican student's school project won gold at ISIF 2026 but did not invent sound wave fire suppression; the concept using low-frequency waves was demonstrated in 2015 by George Mason University students with a similar portable prototype.

I've started a jerseys-for-sale thread where i'll be posting jersey designs that you can shop from, and instead of waiting 48 hours for them, when you pay, i'll send the files right away. Only $25
Cheaper, pre-made jerseys with no wait time ๐ฅ

If it gets fully implemented, anyone working past the 32 hour mark would get mandatory overtime pay.
