elron has no idea how time works, it's much more wibbley wobbley than he thinks, also it's why he loses in the end, like the rest.

CENTRAL CASTING: WHO COULD THIS BE? 👀
Imagine for a moment that Paul Reubens, famously known as Pee-wee Herman, hadn't actually passed away in 2023.
What if he'd instead been recruited by Central Casting to portray a high-profile prime minister, politician or senior government official?
Which world leader immediately comes to mind? 👀

Everything you own has an ongoing price attached to it to keep you tethered to The Construct™, every item you own, and mean EVERY item has a subscription cost and is a ball and chain binding you to the very system that's imprisoning you.
Your fancy car, your watch, your designer clothes and even your light switches all come with an ongoing subscription fee for upkeep, cleaning, repair etc. You pay for this with your Construct Credits™ the more 'things' you have, the higher the cost.
The subscription maybe big, maybe small, but the tether is there regardless and it's attached to every single item.
It's difficult to cut these tethers, brute force can't sever these binds. These tethers are an etheric shackle to the material.
Once the Ego goes the attachments to those material things you own and love fall away all on their own, it starts as a snowball but quickly becomes an avalanche.
Avalanches are scary, because one day you'll look down at your fancy watch and worry because you just don't care for it anymore, then it's another thing then another. You may be in your avalanche right now. The avalanche fiercely builds size and momentum and gets to the bottom and it engulfs absolutely everything with a boom...
then it settles, and there's a quiet piece afterward.
