Nairobi County is run by a UDA Governor and a UDA/ODM-majority Assembly.
You cannot administratively blame the Eastleigh building collapse on an opposition senator.
Accountability sits with the county executive (responsible for approvals and compliance) and the assembly (responsible for oversight). Additionally, the UDA-led national government manages the NCA and the police, who are directly involved. Blaming Sifuna is lazy and fundamentally basic.
And you were part and parcel of that county govt FYI!

A building collapsed in Eastleigh its now 6days and you have not visited the site, yet you have chosen to remain silent. Kindly, Senator Sifuna, as the TEP Party leader and Landa Mwananchi presidential candidate, do the honourable thing by summoning the current Governor of Nairobi to answer the people of Nairobi: Why are buildings collapsing without action being taken, and how safe are Nairobians in buildings approved and constructed under the current City Hall regime currently occupied?
Also, ask him why the two buildings I received complaints about, visited, and stopped from illegal construction were later allowed to continue with construction, only for both to collapse and lives lost.
Finally, ask him why Nairobi County employees are being frustrated by goons, while some of the most hardworking officers are either demoted or fired.

When you hear me say that devolution has been perverted by politicians in Kenya into a tool for extraction and self-enrichment, I want you to understand what I mean.
I decided to take it upon myself to audit every contract awarded in our 47 county governments since devolution.
That report will come shortly - but I attach just a small sample of my findings.
Take a look at attached table.
In that table, you see several "companies" bidding and receiving contracts. They act like they are different companies when bidding - almost certainly designed to hide the fact that they are criminal associates, friends, or family of politicians.
But when I go digging, I find out that in every contract bid, they provide the same phone number or email.
This particular phone number connects the dots. The companies listed here won KSH 272 million that way.
Use your imagination to make sense of what this means.
I will present my analysis the soonest. But I can tell you that you will be shocked, and angry.
