𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗬+ 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗦 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: 𝟭𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 & 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 The READY+ journey has strengthened youth-led advocacy by creating spaces for adolescents and young people to raise their voices, share lived experiences and advocate for HIV, SRH, mental health and other services that respond to their needs. Over the past 10 years, more than 1,100 young people have gained vocational skills through Skills2Live, while 400 CATS have been trained and mentored in Zimbabwe, reaching over 30,000 adolescents and young people through peer-led HIV treatment support, youth-friendly SRH services, safe spaces, home visits and psychosocial support. The celebrations recognised the power of young people and CATS to influence conversations, engage decision-makers and advocate for stronger, youth-responsive HIV services. #READY #WeAreReady #ReadyToThrive

In Mozambique 🇲🇿, our READY FocalPoint @sheryss_saide participated in a high-level dialogue with Members of Parliament from Germany and Luxembourg, CCM representatives, civil society and community actors to discuss the role of communities and young people in shaping Mozambique’s health response and the Global Fund’s Grant Cycle 8 (GC8) process. During the dialogue, Sheryss shared the experience of the Adolescents and Young People Constituency within Mozambique’s CCM, highlighting the importance of meaningful youth participation, community consultations and inclusive decision-making. She emphasised the need to ensure that the priorities and lived experiences of young people are meaningfully reflected in funding, policy and programme decisions. The meeting also explored the impact of Global Fund investments at the community level, the role of community and religious leaders in promoting accurate health information, and both the opportunities and challenges of using digital platforms to reach and engage young people. We are extremely proud of Sheryss, she understands how youth participation goes beyond simply being present. To her, it means having a voice, influencing decisions and actively shaping the solutions that affect young people and their communities. #WeAreREADY #READYMovement

We bring you an inspiring story from Eswatini 🇸🇿! After noticing that fewer young men were accessing health services, Thabiso wanted to understand why. For many young men and young fathers, fear of judgement and harmful expectations around masculinity can make seeking healthcare feel difficult. With support from READY+, Thabiso stepped up as a peer supporter, creating a safe and supportive space for young men and young fathers to access psychosocial support, build confidence, and feel empowered to seek the healthcare they need. His story shows the difference young people can make when they are supported to lead change in their own communities. 💚 Read Thabiso’s full story through the 🔗 in our bio! #WeAreREADY #READYMovement

We’re celebrating 10 years of the READY Movement! 🔥🎉🥳 Yes! it’s been 10 years already!!! On this International Youth Day, we hear from the READY family as we reflect on a decade of movement building, transformation, and change. Young people affected by HIV have demanded more for their health and rights to ensure that no one is left behind. It’s been an incredible journey where governments are now funding and integrating young peer supporters into national health systems. But our work is not done. We’re excited for a new phase of youth programming that continues to centre youth voices, grows a new generation of leaders, and supports young people to thrive. #IYD26 #WeAreREADY #READYMovement
