A busy but fun few days for Nelson pupils! 1st Divis as school leaders & Nelson squads, followed by great examples set by year 13’s running the Fun Run. Today Molly & David were at the Admiral Arthur Phillips Commemoration Service at St Mary le Bow Church. @RHSSuffolk

Although the season is shifting and the weather is cooling, there’s still an opportunity for a round of burgers on the BBQ for Nelson boarders tonight to accompany some social time. A good way to relax and recharge before tomorrow’s Harvest Divisions and the annual fun run!

Drums are the heartbeat of any song, especially in rock music! Thanks Dan P for setting the tempo and energy for the day with your excellent performance of ‘Sweet Child of Mine’ in Chapel this morning. @RHSSuffolk

We were again lucky enough to be treated to a beautiful performance by a Nelson pupil this morning in Chapel. Hearing the Billy Joel classic ‘Just The Way You Are’ (accompanied by Jack on piano) was a fantastic way to start the day. Thank you Jake! @RHSSuffolk

Wishing Nelson 24 / 25 a fantastic evening at the 6th form Ball! You all look fabulous! @royalhospitalschool

We are so lucky to have so much musical talent in Nelson this year! 2 fabulous Chapel performances by Nelson pupils in 7 days. Ed R showcasing his expertise last week, and today a soulful performance by Jack E. Thank you gentlemen!

Today was the first in a series of talks that we do over the course of the year to support our Nelson pupils with making positive choices that contribute to their health and overall well-being now, and in their lives ‘beyond RHS’. @RHSSuffolk

Fantastic to see Nelson pupil Tom playing ‘Yellow after the rain’ in Chapel this morning on the marimba. Well done Tom!

Thank you to our Headmaster Mr Latif for opening The Nelson Arm social club for year 13 pupils last night. A fantastic evening of food, socialising & testing out the Nelson dance floor. Thank you Nelson for embracing the evening with fun and such enthusiasm @RHSSuffolk

Largest Uno tournament in the Nelson day room yet! Kitchen at capacity, Nintendo switch is in use, card games on the go, table tennis match in progress & pool table skills being honed tonight. Great to see Nelson social spaces being so well utilised by our pupils. @RHSSuffolk

Nelson is almost ready for the arrival of the 2024 / 2025 cohort! We have started the year with a pizza reward for some of the prefect and choir members to say thank you for all of their hard work today. We look forward to welcoming everyone tomorrow afternoon! @RHSSuffolk

Well done Mathilda!!!

So proud of you Henrietta!

Celebrating international friendships in Nelson House! Bob, who has been at RHS for 2 years from China, was recently treated to a farewell meal by Chris, Toby, and Tom. A wonderful way to create lasting memories together! 🌏❤️ #GlobalConnections @RHSSuffolk

The very last ‘Congers’ for Nelson 2024! They did themselves proud with enthusiastic singing and the whole house were rewarded as ‘Singer(s) of the Week’. Wishing them all good luck as they head off on study leave next week. @RHSSuffolk

A lovely relaxed evening in the sunshine with mountains of food and friendship, followed by the Nelson dance floor being opened one last time before exams begin. @royalhospitalschool

Lovely to see our @RHS_Nelson year 13 pupils encouraging younger pupils and playing along #leadingbyexample

Our Nelson notice board is ready… Last Nelson Night party for a little while tonight, glad the sun is co-operating for our Hawaiian / beach party theme! A good opportunity to get together as a house to relax ahead of the busy exam weeks. @RHSSuffolk
