Last sessions this with @theclassroomgardener @vvictorygardens program. Garlic triplets harvested, spicy scapes tasted, turnips nibbled, radishes pulled, plants and bugs identified!!! A little bit of rain even showed up! @deltasd37 @RILightning – at Delta, British Columbia

Never gets old when we read the first 4 pages of @KateMessner & @csneal 's Up in the Garden and Down in the Dirt but it's where we are right now. Waiting for the soil to dry out and warm up. 🔍🪱🐞 🐛 then we read the rest! @dtla37 @RILightning @deltasd37 #deltalearnsoutside

Sharing some of BC's history with @RILightning students. Harry Jerome - 3 x Olympian, educator, promoter of human rights and so much more! @deltasd37 #BlackHistoryMonth2021 Harry Jerome : The Fastest Man on Earth nfb.ca/film/harry_jerome_edu… via @thenfb

Looking for signs of spring. Wet and warm weather has encouraged our fall bulbs to show up earlier than expected. Thanks @bcaitc for brightening up our gardens through the planting a promise program @RILightning @deltasd37

Thank you to @bcaitc for the opportunity to participate in the Planting a Promise daffodil learning experience. Gr. 2-4 students prepared the area and planted in full-sun locations. We added hyacinth and crocus bulbs too. Looking forward to spring. #growoptimism

Great to see a couple ears on our corn... And a family of earwigs living in the husks! We pulled out sunflower stalks today and compared the root balls. What made the difference? Watering, seasoil, space, when they were planted, amount of sun? @RILightning @deltasd37
