We ended Principal Appreciation Month the best way we know how… with a PARADE for the one and only, Mr. Gattus! 🚀💙💛 Our Rockets lined the halls to celebrate and show some extra love to a principal who goes above and beyond for our students, staff, and entire RLE family every single day. We are so lucky to have him leading our Rockets! 🚀 Mr. Gattus, you are simply THE BEST! Thank you for everything you do to make Richland such a special place. What an ACTION-PACKED day at RLE! 🚀📖🤠🎃 We kicked things off with our Storybook Character Day Parade, showing off everyone’s favorite storybook characters and creative costumes! Then, the @BHS_Ramblers brought the energy with an incredible performance for our Rockets! And we wrapped up the day with our annual Trunk or Treat! Even though the rain moved our festivities indoors, it certainly didn’t dampen the fun! From start to finish, it was a day full of smiles, laughter, school spirit, and unforgettable memories made with our students and families! Thank you to all who came out! @billgattus @RichardsonISD

Ms. Holt & Ms. Gammill’s 3rd grade classes had a field trip yesterday they’ll never forget! 🚀 They visited the Berkner HS STEM Center where they built and flew drones, explored how money works, learned about nurses and about the heart, and even created their own stop-motion animations! 🧠💰💉🎬 What an amazing day of hands-on learning and discovery! 💡🤓 Our other 2 third grade classes will have this amazing experience in December! Thank you @bhsstem for having us! @billgattus @RichardsonISD @IamBranum

🏀🏈⚽🏐 RECESS JUST GOT AN UPGRADE! 🚀💙💛 Thanks to our AMAZING PTA, every single grade level at RLE is receiving recess bags filled with sports balls! 🎉 That means more opportunities to play, more fun with friends, and no more needing to bring sports equipment from home! We are SO excited to see our Rockets getting active, playing together, and making the most of recess! A HUGE thank you to our PTA for funding this initiative and continuing to find ways to make a difference for ALL of our students! 💙💛 @billgattus @RichardsonISD @risdpta

🦖🌙 It’s a NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM in 1st grade music! 🎶 Our little statues are bringing the museum to life as they create their own movements and poses! When the night guards turn on their flashlights, you better FREEZE! 🔦 And when it’s time to “switch,” students choose a brand-new statue shape to represent their museum! So much fun learning through movement, creativity, and imagination! 🎨🗿 @dylanlkirk @billgattus
