I’m a 2025 RISD ST⭐️RS Teacher!!! I’m beyond honored, shocked, and humbled to receive this incredible recognition!! Growing up, I watched my favorite teachers earn this, and now it’s a dream come true to be one myself! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ @billgattus @RichardsonISD @IamBranum @RLErockets1

Our 6th graders had an absolutely AMAZING and unforgettable day experiencing the magic of opera! ✨ Today, they enjoyed a special field trip to see “The Little Prince” at the incredible, breathtakingly beautiful Winspear Opera House! From the stunning venue to the incredible performance, it was an experience filled with wonder, creativity, and memories our students will cherish! What a special opportunity to experience the arts beyond the classroom! 🎭🎵 Thank you @TheDallasOpera & @RISDVPA for the amazing opportunity! @billgattus @dylanlkirk @RichardsonISD

We ended Principal Appreciation Month the best way we know how… with a PARADE for the one and only, Mr. Gattus! 🚀💙💛
Our Rockets lined the halls to celebrate and show some extra love to a principal who goes above and beyond for our students, staff, and entire RLE family every single day. We are so lucky to have him leading our Rockets! 🚀
Mr. Gattus, you are simply THE BEST! Thank you for everything you do to make Richland such a special place. We appreciate you more than words can say! HAPPY PRINCIPAL APPRECIATION MONTH! 🎉 @billgattus @RichardsonISD

What an ACTION-PACKED day at RLE! 🚀📖🤠🎃
We kicked things off with our Storybook Character Day Parade, showing off everyone’s favorite storybook characters and creative costumes! Then, the @BHS_Ramblers brought the energy with an incredible performance for our Rockets! And we wrapped up the day with our annual Trunk or Treat!
Even though the rain moved our festivities indoors, it certainly didn’t dampen the fun! From start to finish, it was a day full of smiles, laughter, school spirit, and unforgettable memories made with our students and families! Thank you to all who came out! @billgattus @RichardsonISD

A sweet start to the morning! ☕🍩 A huge THANK YOU to Mosaic Church Richardson for treating all of our RLE staff to donuts and coffee this morning! We are so grateful for our community partners who go out of their way to show our teachers and staff some love! ❤️🚀 @billgattus
Always too much fun in music class!🤩🔦🗿
🦖🌙 It’s a NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM in 1st grade music! 🎶 Our little statues are bringing the museum to life as they create their own movements and poses! When the night guards turn on their flashlights, you better FREEZE! 🔦 And when it’s time to “switch,” students choose a brand-new statue shape to represent their museum! So much fun learning through movement, creativity, and imagination! 🎨🗿 @dylanlkirk @billgattus

🎶✨ Our 3rd graders had a picture-perfect day of music on their field trip to the Richardson Symphony Orchestra at the beautiful Eisemann Center! Dressed to impress, our students enjoyed a wonderful concert filled with soothing, lovely music… so lovely that it even lulled a few of us to sleep! 🤣🎻
A HUGE thank you to the Richardson Symphony Orchestra for sharing the magic of live music with our Rockets! We loved getting to see our RSO docent visitor, Ms. Peggy Tucker playing the viola in the orchestra! What an amazing day of listening, learning, and appreciating the arts! 💙💛🎻🎷🎺🪈🎵🥁 @dylanlkirk @billgattus @RichardsonSymph @EisemannCenter @RichardsonISD

🎻🎶 A symphony of learning! Today, our third graders had an amazing opportunity to learn all about the viola & the violin from Richardson Symphony Orchestra docent and violist, Peggy Tucker!
Mrs. Tucker introduced students to her instrument, treated them to some beautiful music, and went over important concert etiquette to help them prepare for their upcoming field trip to the Richardson Symphony Orchestra in a couple of weeks! We can’t wait to see our third graders put their new knowledge to use at the concert! 🎼✨ @RichardsonSymph @RISDVPA @RichardsonISD @billgattus @dylanlkirk
Barred instruments are OUT to rehearse for our upcoming “FALLing into Hispanic Heritage Month” program in 2 weeks! We are so excited to showcase what these amazingly talented students have been working on in 2nd grade music! 🤩🐿️🎵 @billgattus @RISDVPA @RichardsonISD @RLErockets1
