🔨 After making improvements to our bot detection methods, we have completed an initial ban wave on 5,500 accounts that were using bots to cheat in online matches over the past week.
We will continue to take action on players who disrupt fair play as we continue to take steps towards securing Rocket League's competitive integrity against cheaters, and more bans are coming.

Hi everyone, we have several updates to share on the recent denial-of-service (DoS) server attacks that have affected Rocket League and our players.
We’ve deployed multiple changes to help better detect and defeat the methods used in DoS attacks over the last several weeks. Since these changes went out with update v2.51 last week, DoS reports from players have dropped significantly.
With new detection methods in place, we are instantly removing players who use these attacks from online matches, and then banning the accounts in waves.
In addition to the changes we’ve made, we've sent a Cease & Desist to a DoS tool distributor. We will not tolerate bad actors who ruin the experience for other players. Anyone caught distributing or using DoS tools will be banned and may face legal consequences.
We'll continue developing more ways to catch DoS exploits. Thank you for sticking with us while we’ve worked behind the scenes to solve this.

Along with improving matchmaking quality for all players, we know server performance and DDOS match disruptions are top of mind for many of you. We're working towards the needed fixes for these DDOS disruptions, and we’re also mid-stream on changes to our server fleet.

v2.34 will be released on December 5 at 4pm PST / December 6 at 12am UTC on all platforms. When the update is released and the new Play Menu is live, there will be two known issues in Competitive for the remainder of Season 12.
-The countdown to the end of the season will no longer be visible. Season 12 is scheduled to end at 7:30am PST / 3:30pm UTC on December 6.
-Competitive Dropshot will not be available for the remainder of Season 12, and will not be visible in the Competitive card.
