Amendment 3 results re: first step for property tax elimination. Only 3 counties — Gadsden, Leon and Alachua (three most liberal counties) — had a majority vote against it. Rural counties where opponents were trying to scare people against it voted overwhelmingly in favor. 66% in Miami-Dade voted in favor, and large counties including Hillsborough, Palm Beach and Lee all hit 60% or more.
Big win for taxpayers!

We lost because our GOP leadership is weak, spineless, and too cowardly to deliver on the agenda that got them elected.
The SAVE America Act should have been passed, and mass deportations should have been carried out, with daily updates so people could see how many illegal aliens were being removed. That kind of delivery would have motivated far more Republicans to get out and vote.
At the same time, Republican messaging has been an absolute freaking disaster. Trump has accomplished a hell of a lot in his second term, yet the GOP has done a piss-poor job communicating those accomplishments. They had victories to highlight and still failed to make the case to the American people.
Blaming the Iran war is a convenient scapegoat when the real failure starts with the leadership surrounding Trump. He cannot do everything himself while the people responsible for advancing his agenda sit around and do nothing.
Republicans had every opportunity to deliver, and they blew it.

You lost because you didn't codify DOGE, you didn't arrest anyone for Covid-the laptop-the raid-J6, etc, you didn't pass the Save Act, you didn't stop the fraud and abuse that's rampant, etc, etc, etc

GATOR IN HOME DEPOT! 🐊 Deputies in Okeechobee got the most Florida call of the week — "We need assistance with a 10-foot alligator in Aisle 43." The gator was wrangled and later moved. Only in Florida! Credit: Okeechobee County Sheriffs Office

November 4, 2026: Sheriff Judd answered questions from reporters about Amendment 3. God bless America 🇺🇸
Florida man strikes again.
This is what happens when a set of steel balls, pure good intentions, and a brain completely melted by TikTok all share one body. You get a Cuban Tarzan with a death wish and a three-foot iguana. 😶
I respect this smoothbrain swamp ninja more than most people who post about “helping the environment.” He is actively removing invasive iguanas from a South Florida canal instead of just complaining about them online. That part is legitimate. The execution is where the brain cells clearly signed off for the day. 🧠
He sees the lizard, takes a few steps, and full-sends himself into that ditch like a manatee that just got hit with a taser mid-migration. No stick. No net. No quick check for the other 47 things that live in Florida canals and have zero interest in his invasive species cleanup program. He just launches, hits the water, and comes up holding the iguana like he just won a prize at the fair...
It is impressive in the same way it is impressive when someone tries to fist-fight a riding lawnmower. You have to respect the nerve. You also have to accept that one wrong move turns this from “local hero removes invasive lizard” into “local hero becomes local content for the neighborhood gator.” The canal did not care about his good intentions or his Salt Life shirt.
Respect the mission. Question every single decision that led to the swan dive. Florida already has enough people treating every body of water like a slightly dirtier swimming pool. This guy is just the most committed version of that idea. 🦎🏆🤤

Your Story, Your Channel: Brown Tells Highlands County Cultural Groups “You Are the Media Now”
Highlands County’s museums and historical societies have plenty of stories to tell. The hard part is getting people to see them.
That was the message from author and media strategist R. Michael Brown at the Heartland Cultural Alliance (HCA) meeting on Thursday, Oct. 29, at the Military Sea Services Museum in Sebring.
Brown presented “You Are the Media Now: An 8-Step Content Marketing System to Increase Awareness, Engagement, and Support,” based on his 2025 book of the same name.
The audience included representatives of local historical societies and museums, a church, and a radio station.
“The gatekeepers are gone,” Brown said. “We used to need a reporter or a TV crew to tell our story. Now every museum, cultural group, nonprofit, and for-profit organization has a digital press and a TV station in its pocket.”
