The @WestJet CEO appears to believe that free labour is ok and is willing to see Flight Attendants locked out until they agree to it. I side with flight attendants who should be paid in full for every minute they are at work. #unpaidWorkWontFly

COVID hysterics took years of life away from healthy people and pushed experimental “vaccines” down our throats. Today we know the truth: COVID-19 likely originated from a lab leak and the “vaccines” harmed many. Accountability is not optional. It's about time BC has its own hearing for Bonnie Henry.

Good-faith concessions from Canada have been met with further tariffs and further threats of economic damage. And as you surely remember, these threats are being made by a U.S. President who seeks to strip Canadians of our sovereignty in order to satisfy his territorial ambitions.
In response, some on the Canadian right have abandoned the love of country and willingness to stand up for their nation that is among the most valuable and laudable aspects of conservatism, in order to relentlessly blame Canada for Trump’s economic assaults on our nation. They have, in their hearts, their minds, and their souls, surrendered to either their fear of Trump or their greed for more power at the expense of their fellow Canadians.
Partisan blame despite facts - Wildfires. The need for more moderate politicians. Stronger public education needed. Circle logic confirmed. If you go far enough to the left you'll hit the far right. I remember 10 years ago far left's blaming Christy Clark for wildfires in BC – at Surrey, British Columbia

Pay the players!! #UnionStrong
Fixed it for you: The players authorized their Union @thephpa to call a strike by voting in favour of it. #Solidarity – at Surrey, British Columbia

ALT A graphic that says: The PHPA (Professional Hockey Players Association) has forced the players to go on strike effective 12:00 pm today. Due to this, tonight’s home game against Trois-Rivieres will be postponed. All tickets for tonight’s game will be transferred to a makeup date, to be determined. For individual questions, please contact us at: 518-480-3355 x319
Translation: Your Union is too effective can you please break apart internally? Instead of wasting time with this nonsense return to the bargaining table. #Solidarity with @thephpa – at Surrey, British Columbia

They did vote, they voted to strike. – at Surrey, British Columbia

Time to disband that player union then. If they’re “all about the players” but won’t let them even vote, time to move on.

In theory the American labor movement would mobilize a mass general strike like in the old days to resist corrupt billionaires from undermining the rule of law to harm workers.
But what happens when large percentage of workers are on the side of the corrupt billionaires?

@cupenat Flight Attendants - your cause was just, your courage was clear and the public was behind you.
Congratulations on achieving a collective agreement!
This shows what’s possible when workers stand together for fairness and dignity.

Today I was proud to stand in solidarity with striking Rogers workers in Abbotsford. Rogers is refusing to return to bargaining table and undermining the right to strike. The NDP will never stop fighting to ensure working people have their voices heard and their rights protected.

Workers want action on what matters: delivering on anti-scab legislation, public health care and Pharmacare, lowering costs, investing in public services, tackling the housing crisis, and creating good union jobs. @MarkJCarney
