UPDATE: I can confirm that the Ledger supply chain is compromised in Europe as well. @Ledger should initiate an immediate product recall to protect users.
I just purchased a second device from a different Mediamarkt location today, recorded the unboxing process, and discovered spyware once again (video linked in the second tweet).
The device was compromised in the exact same manner, featuring identical modifications (such as additional cables and an LTE module). This indicates its a widespread issue rather than an isolated incident, potentially affecting Ledger inventory across MediaMarkt and Saturn stores throughout Europe (comprising over 1,000 stores across 11 countries).
My initial hypothesis was that these devices were returns that looked unopened to the employees and were just sold again as new however, a MediaMarkt employee confirmed that the device I purchased was not a return, and that returned Ledgers are sent directly back to the manufacturer rather than resold.
Store records show the inventory originated from Aqipa GmbH. While Ledger's CTO was unsure if Aqipa serves as the direct distributor between Ledger and MediaMarkt, it appears to be the case. Given that Aqipa distributes across Europe, any physical retail store receiving stock through them may be at risk.
I sent the first ledger to mark and the second one is going to ledger now, so that they can analyse it.
If you purchased a ledger from anyone other than the official ledger store, make sure to check your device!!
If you wanna know the risk profile of L2s and how bad it can get the moment the sequencer goes down, check here: l2beat.com/layer2s/risk
Did you know? DAI's token contract was built without a freeze function, so no one could lock DAI in your wallet. USDS, its successor in the Sky ecosystem, includes one for compliance purposes.

PulseChain community is mostly responsible for the suckery prices, not Richard Heart.
Why?
I have NEVER seen a community cockblock their own chain this much. Half the influencers block and hate each other. Some wannabe newcomer content posters block the bigger ones, thinking their noname ass would replace them, and Hexicans gatekeep literally everything that hasn’t to do with core coins.
Imagine being on a blockchain where people block and hate each other, cockblock each other, simply because they HATE every coin that they do not own.
Would never happen on any chain ever.
It‘s ironic. Because Hexicans cry about being gatekept and censored, yet they‘re the worst fascists in their own bubble.
You really can‘t make all this shit up.
I tried uniting the different camps for years, but it’s impossible when you’re getting blocked by certain parties or deliberately censored and muted.
Imagine blocking one of the most relevant KOLs on PulseChain who‘s actually pro-actively fighting for the common good by penetrating into the center of CT?
Unimaginable.
Total fools.

.@adam3us called me a "scammer and con-artist."
His Bitcoin sidechain just got hacked for $320 million of BTC. How's that bag of dicks taste Adam? Adam is CEO/cofounder of blockstream btw.
P.S. PulseChain is better than your trash. Loser, lol.
Also, shout out @Excellion, @NickSzabo4 & other Blockstream hoes. Lol. Kneel.
P.P.S Magnanimus in victory.
BTW, some large portion of Bitcoin has despised blockstream for many many reasons for a very long time. It's probably the majority opinion if I had to guess. A cancer upon $BTC.
Even though HEX has ~3.69% yearly inflation, the share rate has risen much faster.
This means the same amount of HEX buys fewer and fewer T-Shares over time.
-65% drop in minting power while total supply only grew ~8% after the first year.

PulseX has been updated. v1.1.5 has RPC node auto failover and supports custom RPC. Be a big boy and run your own node and then you have your own private RPC!

go dot hex dot com has been upgrade to v2.1.1. You can disable the "subgraph" and just read directly from the contract through the RPC you choose.
An "RPC" is just a fancy word for you running a node, which can then tell you through the "RPC" which it uses as a communication channel to your wallet the state of the network and let you communicate with your peers. In layman's terms, the browser you're reading this on is kinda like a wallet that is reading my speech of a network, and the RPC is kinda like a webserver. A subgraph is just a convenient way to read a subset of data of a chain, in this case, the data around HEX.
pulsechainstats.com is amazing. Shoutout to them! @PulseChainStats
It’s great when the money is actually there. PulseX user unaffected. HEX user unaffected. ProveX user unaffected.
I like paying less for the same output. PulseChain vs Ethereum fees - $0.0011 vs $0.224
Ending HEX miners is still expensive on Ethereum, especially from day one. Go PulseChain!

PulseChain uses straight up EVM based solidity.
Battle tested. Battle hardened.
I know what my favourite chain is. Do you?
Anyone ever try that liquid staking on PulseChain?

PulseChain builders 👀 we made it stupidly easy to move liquidity in and out of Pulse.
@hypermid routes any token across major EVM chains, and PLS is first-class. Bridge from ETH, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Unichain → PulseChain (and back) in one tx.
