We have some very big announcements coming up soon for Sunflower I'm so proud of our team and the craft they're pouring into this product I wish I could spill the beans today... but the wait won't be much longer 🌻

Funding rounds aren't milestones. It shouldn't be your goal to raise a series A. It should be your goal not to need to.

Rest in Peace, Captain 😢🫔
Patrick Stewart, who will be remembered most for his roles as Captain Jean-Luc Picard on ā€œStar Trek: The Next Generationā€ and as Professor Charles Xavier in the ā€œX-Menā€ films, has died at 86. variety.com/2026/tv/news/pat…

A small hint: you'll notice in those screen recordings that there's another tab to the far left of the nav... I wonder what's in there? šŸ˜‰

After stellar pitches and crazy traction (eg. a 2 person companies, $750K ARR in 3 months) ending up with an all-stars panel with @rsg @edsim @GregMcAdoo Telora is next level

Miss Norm so much. What a treasure Some of my favorite jokes are his long-winded, absurd stories. That always land with an incredible punchline I can recite his ā€œfrog walks into a bankā€ joke by memory ā¤ļø
Classic Norm: reward the patience, kill the punchline, leave Conan and the audience wrecked.

Building desktop apps just for easier and faster! āš”ļø
Introducing Legend Spark! It’s a React Native desktop framework for really fast desktop apps with React Native and Expo. The biggest gaps in RN on desktop have been getting started, Expo compatibility, and modules. So I’m trying to fix all of that. Let's make apps super fast!

You know you can just look this stuff up, right? You can literally look up that Tesla has $45 Billion in the bank and is doing billions in profit every quarter.
Scott Galloway says Tesla is the patient in Musk's SpaceX merger and SpaceX shareholders are the organ donors "It's a real merger with a fake promise. When Musk merges something into another, it's an acknowledgement that it's about to crater." "He stuffed Twitter into xAI, which then got folded into SpaceX. His M&A strategy is simple. When one of his kids is failing, he makes another family adopt it." "So, right now, Tesla is the patient and SpaceX is the organ donor or SpaceX shareholders are the organ donor." "So, who wins? Tesla shareholders... That's like trading, you know, your Buick for a piece of a Gulfstream."

What it’s like to talk about ARR these days
YC’s advice on defining ā€œARRā€ is great To keep everyone honest, I always clearly define key metrics in the board deck appendix. And then I highlight any definition changes we make. This should be standard practice

Of course I had to put the soundtrack on this morning Another fun story: within the company, people had mixed reactions to the movie But almost everyone *loved* this soundtrack. Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross crushed it So we’d be coding & designing Facebook, while listening to the soundtrack from the movie about Facebook. Very meta We were wired in šŸ˜‚ (And no, the phrase ā€œhe’s wired inā€ was never used before the movie came out, but we used it all the time afterwards!)
I’m not going to watch The Social Reckoning, but let me share a fun story about seeing The Social Network when I worked at Facebook back in the day At an all-hands, Zuck said he initially didn’t want to watch it—but if he was going to, we’d all watch it together So the whole company saw the movie together in a rented out theatre Afterwards we threw an impromptu company party across several bars in Palo Alto There’s a throwaway scene in the movie where the Sean Parker character first meets Mark. Sean asks Eduardo’s girlfriend what she wants to drink. She wants an appletini Sean then says: ā€œAppletinis all around!ā€ After the movie, I was standing next to Zuck at the party and asked him: ā€œwouldn’t it be funny if we ordered appletinis?ā€ Zuck loved the idea. A hilarious way to toast to an incredibly inaccurate movie So with my best Justin Timberlake as Parker impression, I told the bartender: ā€œAppletinis all around!ā€ And so this is one of my favorite photos from my time at Facebook

A moat never made a castle impregnable. It slowed attackers down. The wider and deeper it was, the more time it bought. The industry made it sound like ā€œmoatā€ means high immunity from competition. But I think moats will remain as long as people are involved.
there is no moat
