Heavy snow currently falling on @UniofReading campus. Untreated roads are becoming slick. Take care! Snow expected to be falling like this for a few more hours yet! @RUSUtweets safety bus service is still running from the URS building until 11:45.
Latest run of the AROME model matches well with the position of the precipitation as depicted by the @Netweather Radar. This model and others are indicative of the snow falling from about 9/10pm tonight in the Reading area, after the evening rush hour. GIF from @wxcharts
Temperature dropped to -5C early this morning, along with relative humidity of 96%. This brought fog conditions over @UniofReading and caused Rime ice (as pictured)

We saw a drop of -2.9C in one hour here as the snow started falling this afternoon. The forecast is showing more snowfall in the next hour as well ❄️
Still a lot of uncertainty surrounding the possible snow next week - however I'll take an 86% risk of snow on Tuesday morning! If we do have any snow it looks like any accumulations will be no more than 1cm. Watch this space! Charts from @wxcharts
A frosty morning on @UniofReading Whiteknights Campus this morning. A bitterly cold night has such scenic consequences!
Air temperatures went as low as -3.8C early this morning ❄️
