Incredibly proud of all the time & work Trey put in over the past year. Special moment for our program with our first college commitment. Trey is the only 2027 grad we took on this year to play for @STIXbaseba11, I am excited to see him continue to develop & live out his dream.
I am excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Malone University. #agtg #commited #rollneers

It’s “rug pulling” season right now at the D1 level…
High school kids in the 2027 class are being told they no longer have a scholarship offer. Signing Day is November 11th. There will only be more high school guys getting this phone call in the next couple of weeks.
If you’re committing to a school with more than 7-8 commits in the class - understand the math. 34 player rosters + DSA’s. That’s roughly 7-8 incoming freshman in most cases.
Schools don’t typically want to play freshman.
What can you do? Wait to commit. Do your homework. Keep an eye on the size of the class in the year leading up to signing day. Keep an eye on the roster in the fall of your senior year. Have a backup plan.

Yet I see a ton of schools ( won't name names but you know who you are) committing 7-12 '28. It's a math problem. 4-5 may make it on campus. Don't be the 6th Ss to commit to p4 go where you have a chance to step on and play, where the numbers make sense!

Well worth the listen. 👇

So Chris Sale is still performing at an elite level at 38… and he’s doing it how? Not by throwing plyo balls? Not by using water bags or belts or pvc pipes? By throwing a 5oz baseball on a consistent basis and staying in shape… what a crazy concept… who would have thought? 🙋🏻♂️
