I wrote about the deification of Mao among the Mangghuer people of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau, and argued that part of the reason he was deified was precisely because of the violent, destructive way in which he wielded power.
For once, the community note is actually useful. Millions of people did indeed die under Mao's reign. It was a tragedy.
But, for some reason, the Western mind seems incapable of grasping the complex impact of Mao. In the West, we refuse to acknowledge that Mao is actually respected and admired in China.
I've listed a few reasons in my original post. Unity and sovereignty are big ones. After a century of being carved up and subjected to imperialism, Mao unified China into a single central state. He removed foreign influence. He stood up to the US.
China’s status as a major power today rests on foundations built by Mao.

Why Nationalist should hate the bourgeoisie.
Firstly, Boomers (Gen X too, let’s not kid ourselves they aren’t in the same boat as the younger generations who can’t afford a home) are a generation who have been brainwashed by “free speech” or more specifically speech that has been carefully curated to them by legacy media, international corporations & the federal government via Operation Mockingbird. Regardless the illusion of freedom of speech, even though it’s illegal to advocate for TND, it’s a byproduct of bourgeoisie policies bc in feudal Europe no one cared about marketing campaigns, if you were subversive you got burned. Bc the Church cared about protecting the spiritual health of their flock which is something libertarians are incapable of doing & the end result of this lack of concern has led to the Boomers being turned into some of the most notorious ZOG bots in history all thanks to the bourgeoisies unwillingness to power check the market. To highlight the absurdity of the bourgeoisie, they’ve allowed the talmudic rabbi who owns PornHub to profit off of the exploitation of young White women all for the love of the shekel. Also without the bourgeoisie who would pay Hollywood to watch their 6 million movies about how sholomo was jerked off to death.
Second, the bourgeoisie are total sell outs who have no connection to blood & soil as they are practically vagabond merchants or if they do have a nation, they’ll do everything in their power to turn it into an economic zone.
