The latest Flatlander newsletter was about peat moss mining in #Saskatchewan and #Manitoba. Peat is mined from bogs, also known as muskeg, which involves draining these wetlands. The trees and shrubs in the bog are removed destroying animal habitat. theflatlander.ca/peat-moss-m…

Because I work from home, and live in a small town, so don’t drive much, I don’t need to get gas often… but when I do it’s always -32 C outside, half the pumps don’t work and the ones that do only have premium left…
