Beam × Miles 🤝 We've published RL post-training recipes for @reflection_ai's Beam, covering full-parameter GRPO and LoRA training with SGLang-powered rollouts. Thanks @chetantekur and the Reflection team for the collaboration! Check out the cookbook: miles.radixark.com/docs/mode…
We have been working on making Beam easier to customize at @reflection_ai. Seeing the recipes and integrations go live feels pretty amazing. We're putting the code, training configs, and examples out there so people can start building on Beam. Here's what's in the cookbook: Data generation: Use Beam to create training data, including software-engineering trajectories that pass tests and reasoning examples for tool calling. github.com/reflection-oss/co… Fine-tuning: Adapt Beam to your data and tasks with LoRA, QLoRA, or full fine-tuning. github.com/reflection-oss/co… Distillation: Use Beam to teach a smaller model. We've included recipes for coding trajectories and tool-calling reasoning. Coding: github.com/reflection-oss/co… Tool calling: github.com/reflection-oss/co… Reinforcement learning: Post-train Beam against verifiable rewards. github.com/reflection-oss/co… Huge thanks to our partners and the teams behind these integrations: • NeMo AutoModel, @NVIDIAAIDev: SFT with LoRA and full fine-tuning. docs.nvidia.com/nemo/automod… • Megatron Bridge, @NVIDIAAIDev: Large-scale full fine-tuning. github.com/NVIDIA-NeMo/Megat… • Axolotl, @axolotl_ai: LoRA, QLoRA, and full fine-tuning. github.com/axolotl-ai-cloud/… • HF TRL, @huggingface: Training smaller models on Beam-generated data. github.com/huggingface/trl • Miles, @radixark: RL post-training. miles.radixark.com/docs/mode… • NeMo RL, @NVIDIAAIDev: RL post-training on NVIDIA hardware. github.com/NVIDIA-NeMo/RL/bl… • SkyRL, @NovaSkyAI: LoRA and full-parameter RL. docs.skyrl.ai/docs/examples/… Each recipe has its own instructions, dependencies, sample inputs, and smoke test. I'm excited to see people run these experiments, adapt Beam to their own work, and contribute recipes we haven't thought of. Huge thanks to @Nazeri2010, @bhutanisanyam1, @kathleen_mhatre, @FGbelidji, @joespeez, and to Thibaut, Matthias, Travis, Kai, and Yoni for making this happen. SGLang-Diffusion is a high-performance serving framework for diffusion models, designed for both large-scale offline generation and latency-sensitive real-time inference. At PyTorch Conference North America 2026, Yihao Wang and Kevin Mi of @RadixArk will present the design of @sgl_project-Diffusion and the PyTorch-based inference optimizations behind it, including efficient request scheduling, memory management, batching strategies, and execution-path optimizations for diffusion pipelines. Join us in San Jose, October 20-21: hubs.la/Q04v4SL60 #PyTorchCon

Our team worked with @reflection_ai to get Beam running on SGLang, and it now serves their production API. Beam is also supported in Miles for RL training. Congrats to the Reflection team on the launch!
SGLang powers Beam’s production API, with day-0 support now available to everyone! Built for software engineering and long-horizon agents, Beam delivers frontier-level inference efficiency with more intelligence per token. Serve it on the same production-proven stack: docs.sglang.io/cookbook/auto… Read more: lmsys.org/blog/2026-10-16-be…

Great working with @AIatMeta to bring production-ready support for Muse Spark Open to @sgl_project and Miles. Meta’s custom, auto-tunable Helion kernels deliver 1.03–3.95× kernel-level speedups across @NVIDIAAI and @AIatAMD GPUs. Together, we also added day-0 support on @Google TPU via SGLang-TorchTPU for the first time. Proud to work with Meta on this launch and bring the work we do at RadixArk to the SGLang and Miles communities.
Muse Spark Open is built to plan, act, and use computer across agentic tasks for life and work. You can now build a powerful personal AI agent with an open stack, and SGLang to make it: - Ultra-responsive with NVFP4 MegaMoE and sequence parallelism - Faster for agentic and coding tasks with our DFlash2 draft model - Customizable for specialized use cases via fine-tuning with Miles We’re incredibly proud to have made this possible with @AIatMeta, @NVIDIAAI, @AIatAMD, @intel, and @radixark!

Congratulations to @StepFun_ai on Step 5 Preview going open weights! RadixArk is proud to help power StepFun's first-party production API with SGLang at scale. Production inference means great token economics under strict latency requirements. SGLang and its cache-aware routing stack now bring that to Step 5 Preview in proven production traffic. Building with Step 5 Preview? Deploy with SGLang today!
Step 5 Preview is now open weights. BF16 and FP8 weights are live on Hugging Face and ModelScope, together with our technical blog. • Sparse MoE: 600B total, 27B active per token • 1M-token context window • Native text and vision input • Built for long-horizon agentic work: coding, software engineering, professional knowledge work and finance Frontier intelligence, open weights. Build what's next. Hugging Face: huggingface.co/stepfun-ai/St… ModelScope: modelscope.ai/models/stepfun… GitHub: github.com/stepfun-ai/Step-5…

Congrats to @modal on this fantastic work! Miles makes RL more flexible and cost-efficient. It separates sampling from training and handles the differences between them, so teams can mix GPUs and precisions without sacrificing training stability. Modal validates this in practice with six GPU types and three precisions, achieving comparable model performance at ~15% lower sampling cost per update.

We use Miles from @radixark as the RL framework, with @sgl_project samplers and a Megatron-LM trainer that updates the policy in BF16 on B200 GPUs. There are two setups: 1. Mixed samplers that span six kinds of accelerators and three precisions (BF16, FP8 and NVFP4). 2. Homogeneous samplers that run only on B200s with BF16 weights and a BF16 KV cache.

Miles runs RL end to end on NVIDIA Vera Rubin, out of the box: SGLang rollouts, Megatron training, one container image. And agentic RL with 64 concurrent sandboxes on the Vera CPU, right next to the GPUs. Thanks to @NVIDIAAI for the early access. Details in the blog 👇
We brought SGLang to NVIDIA Vera Rubin and accelerated Kimi K3 inference. Working closely with @NVIDIA, we optimized attention, MoE, and speculative verification kernels on early-access Rubin hardware. Highlights: • Up to 20% faster FP8 MLA at batch 1 / 128K context • 20% faster KDA verification, with bitwise-identical output • 5.9% end-to-end inference speedup from MoE tail fusion, removing 276 kernel launches per decode step SGLang also powers rollouts for Miles' end-to-end RL training on Rubin, including agentic RL with 64 concurrent sandboxes on the Vera CPU.
