A woman who wants to conquer the world but still takes motherhood seriously? Now, that’s a woman I deeply admire.
Women who understand that they can pursue greatness without neglecting the beautiful responsibility of raising a family.

In HBO's Game of Thrones, Grey Worm becomes the commander of the Unsullied through a rare democratic choice granted to him by Daenerys Targaryen immediately after she liberates them from Astapor in Season 3.
Here is how his rise plays out on screen:
The Liberation of Astapor (Season 3, Episode 4 - "And Now His Watch Is Ended"): Daenerys acquires the Unsullied army from the slave masters (the Good Masters) using her adult dragon, Drogon, in a trade. Once the transaction is locked in, she orders Drogon to burn the main slave trader, Kraznys mo Nakloz, and commands the Unsullied to kill all slave masters in the city. After the slaughter, she gives the 8,000 elite soldiers their freedom, telling them they can leave as free men or fight for her as free soldiers. All 8,000 march with her.
Rejecting Slave Traditions: Unsullied soldiers were forced by the Good Masters to take degrading names (such as Grey Worm, White Rat, or Vermin) drawn randomly from a bucket every day to strip them of their human identity and remind them of their status as property.
The Election of a Commander (Season 3, Episode 5 - "Kissed by Fire"): Wanting a leader chosen by trust rather than forced rank, Daenerys tells the army to elect their own commander. The soldiers unanimously choose Grey Worm.
Reclaiming His Name: When Daenerys tells him to shed his slave name and pick a birth name or a proud new name, he chooses to keep "Grey Worm." He explains that his previous name was the one he bore on the day Daenerys Targaryen freed him, transforming a symbol of shame into a mark of pride and personal salvation.
Through this election, Grey Worm evolves from an anonymous, castrated slave soldier into Daenerys's most loyal general, trusted advisor, and the undisputed leader of her military vanguard throughout her conquest of Essos and Westeros
SHE TOLD ME THE TRUTH AFTER I BOUGHT HER A CAR
Three days after I bought my wife a car, she told me she was having an affair.
I’m 34.
We’d been married for six years, and she’d been struggling with transportation for months. I’d saved money, adjusted my budget, and finally bought a reliable used car for her.
She cried when I gave her the keys.
I thought it was one of the happiest moments of our marriage.
Then, on Thursday evening, she asked me to sit down because she had something to tell me.
She said she’d been seeing another man for almost five months.
She told me she’d tried to end it but kept going back.
I asked whether the relationship was still happening.
She said yes.
I looked at the car keys on the table.
I wasn’t thinking about getting my money back. The car was hers, and I wasn’t going to use it as a weapon.
I was thinking about how many ordinary decisions I’d made while believing we were building the same future.

My concern with Avengers: Doomsday is that bringing back familiar heroes could become more important than giving them something meaningful to do.
Nostalgia is powerful. Seeing beloved characters return can make an audience emotional before the story has even begun.
But that emotion will not last if the characters exist only to generate reactions.
Doctor Doom needs to force the Avengers into decisions that reveal who they have become, not simply give them another reason to stand together for a final battle.
The best crossover is not the one with the most recognizable faces. It is the one where every character matters to the outcome.

The biggest financial mistake I ever made was spending almost everything I had on a woman I planned to marry, only to discover that the business I was helping her build was connected to a man she had sworn would never be part of her life again.
The worst part was that when she finally broke up with me, she didn't ask me to forgive her. She asked me not to make things difficult for her business.
But I'm getting ahead of myself.
When I met Allison, she was selling clothes online from her bedroom. Her business wasn't doing well, but she had something I admired. She never stopped trying.
We had been dating for eleven months, and we had started talking about marriage. I was working as a sales manager and saving toward buying a car, but I decided to help her rent a small shop and buy more stock.
Watching her business grow made me happy.
One night, while we were sitting in her shop after closing, she rested her head on my shoulder.
Allison: "When this place becomes big, I'll make sure you enjoy the results with me."
Me: "I don't need you to repay me. I just want us to succeed together."
Allison: "That's why I love you."
Over the next two years, I helped her move into a bigger store, purchase stock in bulk, and hire two employees.
My friend Maxwell eventually warned me about putting so much money into a business I didn't own.
Maxwell: "You're planning to marry her, but does the business belong to you too?"
Me: "We're building a future together. What difference does it make?"
He shook his head.
Maxwell: "Just make sure the two of you understand what you're doing."
I thought he was worrying over nothing.
Then Allison's business began growing faster than expected. She started supplying clothes to smaller shops and attending meetings with a man named Harry, who supposedly helped her find better suppliers.
At first, I had no reason to question their relationship. But a few months later, Allison became more secretive with her phone and started travelling for business without telling me until the last minute.
Then she asked me to help fund a second store.
The amount she needed was almost everything I had saved for our introduction ceremony and wedding.
Me: "What happens if the business doesn't make enough money?"
Allison: "I can't promise there won't be risks. But I believe this can work."
She even offered to look for another investor. Instead, I transferred the money three days later.
When the second store opened, Allison introduced me to customers as the man who had believed in her before anyone else did.
I was proud of her.
Then I noticed a man standing near the entrance, watching the celebration without joining it.
When I asked who he was, Allison looked uncomfortable.
Allison: "Just someone from the business side. Don't worry about him."
That evening, while Allison was showering at my apartment, her phone lit up.
The name on the screen was Cole.
I remembered him because Allison had told me he was her ex-boyfriend, the man who had borrowed money from her, abandoned her, and left her struggling to rebuild her life.
The message preview read:
"Congratulations. You finally got what we planned."
Before I could make sense of it, Allison came out of the bathroom, picked up her phone, and looked at me.
For the first time in our relationship, she didn't look embarrassed.
She looked frightened.
