Jeffery Simmons was asked his thoughts on Caleb Williams painted nails now that they are teammates:
“Shit, I’ll paint those motherf——‘s myself if he gets us a ring.”
Caleb getting in trouble for wearing a logo not approved by the NFL…last time this happened to Bears QB something big happened a few months later…

I mean this disrespectfully, but do the Green Bay Packers have the ugliest fanbase in all of the NFL?
Everytime they pan the camera over to them it's some of THE ugliest people you've ever seen. Every. Single. Time.

Man I can't lie its actually REALLY fucking funny that less than a week after the Packers whole locker room was crying bout the refs we get a shot of Matthew Golden holding hands prancing with a ref after throwing a punch at another player and not getting flagged for it 💀

We put 99 Problems on a shirt.
Ben Johnson is putting them all on the field.
Our new Jeffery Simmons 99 PROBLEMS tri-blend tee is in the store. 🐻⬇️

Jeffery Simmons had a quiet game vs the Seahawks last season (2 tackles, no sacks) so I was thinking maybe the Seahawks shut him down. Uh, they did not shut Simmons down

A very underrated aspect of the #Bears trade for All-Pro DT Jeffery Simmons.
He now gets to play for a coaching staff that features legendary DL guru Bill Johnson who’s in year two of his role as a senior defensive assistant.
Bill Johnson has coached Hall of Fame talents like Aaron Donald and Cameron Jordan along with several other Pro Bowl talents including Rod Coleman, Patrick Kerney, and Will Smith.
You can’t ask for a better pairing on paper.

After diving into Jeffery Simmons’ film and weighing the cost, here’s my unfiltered take on the Bears trade.
THE GOOD: Simmons is an absolute GAME WRECKER.
He can line up anywhere along the defensive line, rarely misses time, dominates against the run, and is a legitimate interior pass-rushing threat. He’s the type of player offenses have to game-plan around.
Since 2025 (among DTs):
◾️15 sacks (1st)
◾️23 TFL (1st)
◾️85 pressures (1st)
◾️28 pressures after double teams (1st)
◾️9.5 third-down sacks (1st)
◾️8 forced fumbles over the last 5 seasons (1st)
THE BAD: The price tag.
When I first heard the news, I figured a first-rounder and a mid-round pick. TWO firsts and a fourth? That’s a MASSIVE investment.
Look at the Bears’ five most recent first-round picks:
Dillon Thieneman
Colston Loveland
Caleb Williams
Rome Odunze
Darnell Wright
Not to mention Luther Burden III (2nd round) and Malik Muhammad (4th round).
That’s a LOT of young, affordable talent you’re potentially giving up. And yes, I understand the hope is that those first-rounders end up being late picks.
MY TAKE:
I love the player. I love the aggression. I’m just not in love with the price.
This trade makes the Bears significantly more dangerous RIGHT NOW, but it comes at the expense of future draft capital and flexibility.
You’re going all-in on winning, and that changes expectations. This team doesn’t just need to be competitive anymore. It needs to WIN, and win BIG.
Two firsts and a fourth would’ve been a little too rich for my blood. But I’m also not getting paid millions to make these decisions.
I respect the swing, and I genuinely hope I’m wrong about the cost because Simmons is a hell of a football player.

Pivoting from Buckner to Simmons is sort of the opposite of what the Bears did last year when they pivoted from Garrett to Tryon-Shoyinka

Pivoting from Deforest Buckner to Jeffrey Simmons is like if the girl at the bar gave you a fake number so you slid into Sydney Sweeney’s DMs and she actually responded
