Raiders Vs 49ers tomorrow is the wake-up game the Raiders need to turn this season around. No excuses, beat the man in front of you because there is no reason he should be better than you unless you truly believe you’re not cut out to play in the NFL. Yes, I’m calling an upset. But there’s a path to it. 1️⃣ Brock Bowers is a matchup nightmare Bowers gives the Raiders someone they can build the passing game around. Move him around the formation, find favorable coverage and make San Francisco adjust. The goal isn’t just getting him catches—it’s forcing the defense to devote attention to him and creating opportunities elsewhere. If the Raiders need a big third-down conversion, he’s the player I want involved. 2️⃣ Kirk Cousins gives this offense a chance to finish drives. Cousins has been finding the end zone, and his ability to work through his reads matters against a defense that can punish rushed decisions. Vegas needs patience without becoming conservative: take the underneath completion when it’s there, then attack when the coverage opens up. Field goals probably won’t be enough. Cousins turning scoring opportunities into touchdowns is a big part of the upset formula. 3️⃣ Max Crosby can change a possession You don’t have to shut down San Francisco on every snap to change the game. A sack, a tackle for loss or pressure that forces an incompletion can turn a promising drive into a punt. Crosby gives the Raiders a player capable of producing those moments. Against an offense this dangerous, getting it behind schedule could be the difference between surviving a possession and surrendering seven points. 4️⃣ Ashton Jeanty can hurt them through the air His rushing production has been frustrating, but that doesn’t erase what he offers as a receiver. Screens, checkdowns and routes out of the backfield give the Raiders another way to get him the ball in space. If San Francisco puts extra attention on Bowers, Jeanty needs to make that decision expensive. A short completion that becomes a big gain counts just the same. 5️⃣ The Jets game gives them something to build on Confidence alone won’t beat the 49ers. But coming off a win gives the Raiders evidence that they can execute when a game gets tight. The challenge is carrying that into Sunday without giving away possessions through penalties, turnovers or missed assignments. They don’t need to play like a favorite. They need to stay close enough for their playmakers to decide it. That’s it that is the formula. The same playmakers that have been the reasons we have won games all have to show up together this game to get the win.

This isn’t a Raiders post. This is a life post. Today is the day I officially gave up on gas cars. This is my 4th time getting stranded, and I’ve spent the entire day on the phone with insurance trying to figure out how to get a car that can take me, my wife, our two dogs, and all my props to another country for work. We got stranded in the middle of nowhere on a farm field at 00:00 midnight, 10°C and super windy. On the ride with the tow truck driver, I asked him which cars he picks up the least. He said: “I don’t like the man, but Elon Musk and Tesla have created one of the best cars out there. I almost never have to pick those up, and if there is a problem they fix it remotely.” That was exactly the answer I was expecting, and it sealed the deal. Only issue is I need something big enough for all my props, which means a Cybertruck. I’m crossing my fingers that the EU can finally allow that vehicle to exist here.

Raiders on air matchup vs the Rams Our best weapon is the pass, at 263.5 yards a game, 7th in the league. Sunday at Allegiant we see a Rams defense that allows just 167 through the air, 2nd. And their offense throws for 288 a game, also 2nd. Something has to give.
