A summer visit to The WonderWorks was all it took to get Russ and his son Joel hooked on Scalextric!
They packed away the model railway (sorry Hornby) and turned their garage space into this layout instead 😎
Plenty to enjoy for now with hopefully even more room to expand in the future 👀

Crewe built, Blackpool allocated ‘Black Five’ 44927 stands in the drizzle at Windermere station in 1956. This terminus was once a four platform affair with a goods yard to manage incoming freight movements.

Ex-LMS 3P 2-6-2T No M49 is seen leaving Monument Lane station, Birmingham with a Wolverhampton to New Street local passenger service on 21st May 1948.

Front end Friday! CPR RS-2 #8404 on a caboose hop. The 1949 Alco built Road Switcher is normally based out of Montreal, but, is here in Southern Ontario briefly. The RS-2 can also do passenger service, as it is equipped with a steam generator to heat passenger equipment. #FEF
